The crappy votals were one of the reasons I thought the comeback was possible an hour ago. If Rock Band 2 can be even vaguely a vote draw with the usual ASV-crowd, it could bury Deus Ex just because of how few votes have been coming in.

I think that Deus Ex holds on. Those cuts ain't gonna cut it.

Right now I think I favor Rock Band slightly. It's been smashing through quota easily since 3:15, and I think RB will have one of those Halo/KH-style ASVs that keep going right to the end of the match instead of the Nintendo-style ASVs that taper off after 8 PM. That's because a big reason for RB's ASV gains is that North America is getting more votes relative to Europe, and that margin only gets wider and wider as the poll progresses.

I don't really know much about vote patterns but judging by the American vote map i'm gonna say it'll be California that determines the final outcome.

Needs about 130 votes per hour (or just over 10 per update). It should get stronger as the match goes on and more Europeans hit the sack.

Looking at the vote map, Deus Ex may get a bit of a reprieve from 5-6 from the Central/Mountain time zones (maybe even 4-5 too). Rock Band 2 is already at 54.47% in California though, and it's not even 1 PM there, so the West Coast ASV will probably return in a big way in 2 hours.

The Canada map is really strange: Rock Band has over 51%, but it's losing in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec. The only provinces its winning in are Alberta, Manitoba, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.....all of which together I doubt equal Quebec's population, and I know is less than Ontario's. It must have razor thin margins in the big 3 provinces.

Wrong game I know, but I think I like this one better than the one for RB2. I don't really remember the other one, but it's kind of annoying, IIRC.

I think the low turnout is partially due to a lack of new games that people would want to come to gamefaqs for.

FO:NV and Naruto Released yesterday, so obviously nothing on them yet, and everything out that is popular right now is old, or is a shooter.

I think after fallout faqs start coming in these numbers will start looking a lot better for America anyway.

50.54% hour for RB2 there, but it didn't really start cutting until about 20 minutes into the hour. It's cut 132 votes off of Deus Ex's peak lead in the last 45 minutes.
