Yeah.
Just as a preventative measure, I've got Uncharted 2 coasting up until
F3 and I think Legend of Dragoon will hold it to under 60%, and easily

Downloadable
games are the ****. 360 has some fantastic ones. It's always fun to
dick around on Geometry Wars 2, or play some classics like Worms and
SotN, or just **** around on Peggle. Think I've got around 15 downloadable games on my 360, not even counting the several indie games I bought.. --- Wylvane Ikon is a horrible user. |

Eh,
I don't have much faith in LoD. I mean, it's not like Chrono Cross or
Xenogears are big powerhouses despite being from Square itself. The
only strong PS1 RPGs are the four FF games, if anything. --- Wylvane McBonesII is a horrible user. |

Wait for Brawl to get its hands on Mario Kart DS...! Oh man, I can't wait! MKDS is one of the most overrated games ever, and I can't wait to see Brawl triple it. Anyway, my current thoughts on DS/MM9: yeah, this is a bit discouraging for DS. We all knew this was going to be a major SFF beatdown; but at the same time, it's obviously bigger than just about anyone expected. That having been said, though, while DS and inFamous are both PS3-exclusive, they're completely different in every other aspect: inFamous is the definition of a casual game, while Demon's Souls is a favorite among hardcore gamers. ...also, DS just had a recent and fairly successful European release! In other words, it'll probably triple/quadruple MM9 in the UK, if nothing else. :P --- Watch Fox's RUNNING WILDE, airing Tuesdays at 9:30 EST! Will Arnett and Keri Russell in the same show - how can you top that?!? |

ExTha hasn't even said anything that bad yet. Although I understand this match has very very little to do with DS/MM9, I find myself more confident in MM9 the more I think about it. DS doesn't have the play-rate and it doesn't have a name at all. It has the acclaim, but let's be honest, it's not like it swept all GotY awards or anything. It was still largely overshadowed by MW2 and Uncharted, and I think its best chance in winning lies in the acclaim actually getting more people to play it between the GotY voting and now. Possibly, but I haven't seen it get bigger or anything. It was just released in Europe for the first time. It sold an additional 200k there. Which caused it to re-enter the PS3 Top 10 Message Boards for a while. --- DFF |
