Fallout 3 looks closer to what I was expecting. As long as Fallout 3 stays below 80%, my Oracle prediction won't look too bad.

lol Fallout 3 couldn't even stay above 80% for 5 minutes.

It was pretty funny how the game finally won the board vote for once. Bracket voting at its finest.

I think this is the first time I've ever seen a WRPG look so dominant with the board vote, even though I know it was just brackets.

Psychonauts is going to be one of the weakest games in the bracket, so if Batman doesn't at least match Fallout 3 here, forget it.

If inFamous really does have a worse board vote (possibly because of brackets), then it can still finish in the 20s, which is kinda in line with expectations. I saw a lot of people giving Fallout 75%+ in the Oracle.

Pyschonauts is probably one of the weakest games in the contest, and inFamous would probably beat it handily, IMO, so around 85%, I guess.

Really? You would take InFamous to beat Psychonauts? I knew both were weaker but I assume that Psychonauts would be a little stronger (I am being partially influenced by seeding here which does rarely mean anything).

Low 80s to have a chance. It needs 90s or so to be the favorite. In other words, it's not gonna be the favorite.

Overall, I expect worse vote totals this contest than for the last Character Battle. The vote totals for regular polls were doing very terrible for about 2 months prior to the start of this contest. Also, vote totals will be worse this contest because there is more fodder in the bracket.

inFamous was almost losing to Ogre Battle 64, Psychonauts uhh...that's the game Raz is from right?

Nah, Psychonauts will be in the bottom 10 of the final X-Stats, I'm almost positive, barring some really bad SFF.

Anyways, not really all that gushy over this performance. Could be some Western SFF here and some obvious over performance coz of New Vegas just coming out. Still pretty confident in Half-Life 2.

inFamous was at least a somewhat big-name game for the PS3. It's weak, but it's got some semblance of strength.

Psychonauts is pretty much turbo-fodder. It's the very definition of cult. Batman would have to crush it hard (and hell, it might because who the **** is going to vote for Psychonauts) for Batman to look like it even has a chance against Fallout 3.
