See
when people stack up Sunshine vs. Halo, even with Halo's considerable
history, Sunshine still makes me cringe more. Bottom 10 Game in the
bracket right there. Two reasons for SMS beating the Halo games: 1. It's freaking Mario! 2. It's freaking Halo! ..but Uncharted 2 went out and beat Dragon
Age and Borderlands in the GOTY poll. Uncharted 1 can't even compare to

As
much as Halo and Master Chief have flopped over the years, they have at
least lost to decent competition. This isn't Tina Armstrong > Gordon

isn't a bottom 10 game in terms of strength, certainly not. And would
you really not take Chrono Cross or Xenogears over Uncharted 2, Leon? I dunno, from how I see it, just being in the 32/64 generation automatically bumps you up a tier. As in, a first rate game in any other generation is a second rate game strength-wise in 32/64, a 2nd rate game is a 3rd rate game in 32/64, etc. --- Crono > Sephiroth. 7 years of waiting, and perhaps many more to go. Remain steadfast. |

Chrono Cross or Xenogears could maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe compete with Uncharted 2. Legend of Dragoon is like a homeless man's Chrono Cross. a lot of the people arguing for it didn't even know it existed until that vote-in! --- xyzzy |

I haven't observed this hate for MW2 so much as disappointment. Not after the Black Ops multiplayer reveal conference, which caused many COD fans to do the unthinkable and jump wagon from Infinity Ward to Treyarch. |

Drake would probably beat Serge or Fei in a Character Battle by a decent margin. yeah, the fact that I wouldn't pick CC or Xenogears over UC2 decisively

The Additions system made for an entertaining battle mechanic that made random battles enjoyable. still don't understand people taking this Demon's Souls game. Not only
is it a third rate PS3 exclusive going up against what's probably the
third strongest Mega Man game (behind 2 and X), but I've never even
heard of Demon's Souls until people in this topic started saying that

argument is that it's niche and unknown, when it's gone Platinum or
whatever PS3 games are listed as. Aside from that, you have to argue

And, most importantly, MM2/3 performed terribly in the Games Contest. MM2 did not perform terribly at all. It was exactly where it should be. MM3 performed up to par as well. MMX lost because of Link's Awakening being much stronger than what we anticipated, not because of how weak MMX was. It
got more than tripled by Uncharted 2, and almost tripled by
Borderlands. I would take MM9 over inFamous in a heartbeat. Why do you
people think any of these PS3 exclusives will be worth a damn when the
only thing that system managed to put out with any strength was MGS4,

How
are those flop-worthy performances? I pegged MM2 to be exactly where it
ended up at. Not as classic as Tetris, but strong enough to hold its
own in that division, which it did. MM3 got SFFed to hell and back by a
Mario platformer that anyone with any sort of previous contest
experience would have seen coming. How is that MM3s weakness? Would you
say SM64 is weak as well because of how badly it got crushed when up
