Speaking of Uncharted 2, how far are you guys taking it? Over Halo/Halo 3/Sunshine/SA2/SFIV? Or what? all
those complaints about MW2 haven't stopped it from being the biggest
multiplayer game around, regularly topping Xbox Live's most played
games until Reach came out the other day. I do agree that COD4 is
stronger but I like COD4 a lot, so MW2 has plenty of wiggle room. I
would be absolutely floored if it lost its round 1 match and expect it
to be closer than MW2 than Dissidia will be to it. --- xyzzy |

People don't really connect with Drake relative to other games, it was one of the reason why I went with The Boss. I really don't agree with this. The
real tough match for me is Legend of Dragoon Vs. Sonic Adventure 2. I
really don't think LoD can advance 2 rounds, but then again, Sonic
Adventure 2 doesn't deserve to advance past the first round! I went

haven't observed this hate for MW2 so much as disappointment. It's more
like Brawl than Halo in that area- many SSB fans seemed a little
disappointed with Brawl, and many CoD fans with MW2, but the vocal
group that hates Brawl is very small. The group that hates Halo is very
large and consists almost entirely of non-Halo/Xbox fans. Especially
Nintendo fans. Halo was the enemy. --- Crono > Sephiroth. 7 years of waiting, and perhaps many more to go. Remain steadfast. |

One of reasons Uncharted 2 is good is because Nathan Drake is such a fun, relatable protagonist throughout the entire game. Hmm,
fair point about the review scores. But it's still not comparable to

also have to realize that there are voters that will vote without
knowing at least one of the characters. Nathan Drake looks like some
generic guy while Uncharted 2 has some name value (for the time being,

be fair, KP used the PC-version of MW2. Not like the PS3/360-versions

was actually thinking about LoD getting to Halo and losing, but other
people's confidence in UC2 (some people taking it to and beyond Fallout
for whatever reason) is making me leary on pulling the trigger on that

would have enjoyed seeing either CoD-game in MP's division. Switch it
with L4D, and you just made a crazy division nuttier while giving two
games previously doomed a chance to advance in a much more debatable

The
way I look at it, Legend of Dragoon defeated Mario Kart DS without any
sort of help. I would pretty easily take Mario Kart DS over Uncharted
2, so I definitely see Legend of Dragoon being strong enough to take

You
can force an argument for a string of fun LoD-upsets, but I don't think
it's worth it. LoD's still resting uneasy with me though; I don't trust
SW:B2 and MKDS still being near GoW's strength...but if it is, then LoD
may cost most of us three-seven points. Either way, I don't think

I really doubt 50% of voters have even heard of the game, it was another RPG during the RPG wave. Chrono
Cross or Xenogears would beat Uncharted 2, and probably easily. CC got
6% in the Game of the Decade poll with FFX there, and Xenogears once
beat Pokemon GSC (a very different GSC, I know). If Legend of Dragoon
is close to those games, it won't have a problem. It isn't, but winning a 12-way poll is still pretty good. The vote-ins were surprisingly accurate last contest, and the 13-seeds beat up the 4-seeds pretty badly in the contest. --- Crono > Sephiroth. 7 years of waiting, and perhaps many more to go. I would accept that argument if it wasn't for the fact that it completely demolished 3 of those RPGs by itself (SMT, SO3, Suikoden V). Even with all those other Sony jRPGs in the poll, it still beat a mainstream Mario Kart game. You can argue about the other Nintendo reps in the poll, but you can't ignore the other jRPGs there as well. There's a difference. A lot of people already own SA2 on the 'Cube, but Shenmue's been dead for years along with the Dreamcast. Having many games in the franchise already spanning across many

You cannot find a poll where Ninja Gaiden does well. They're pretty close to each other in strength. when people stack up Sunshine vs. Halo, even with Halo's considerable
history, Sunshine still makes me cringe more. Bottom 10 Game in the
