What's the consensus on Batman/TF2? Batman is my first guess, but TF2 has managed to stay relevant with all the updates it's been getting, while Batman has had nothing. And I doubt Arkham Asylum would have done nearly as well in the GotY's without the residual Dark Knight effects.

Actually, I agree to the extent that the entire reason I picked Symphonia to win in my bracket that match way back then was because I figured the overlap between the other 3 would cause problems for them and give Symphonia a pass.

Thing is, I'd take Half Life 2 over all of them, and had HL2 been in that match, I'd probably have taken HL2 > Symphonia instead...

Anyway, moving on to another late match: does MGS3 have an argument? MGS4 clearly outdid MGS3 on RE4...but I can't make heads nor tails of RE4's performance in the last contest. (Virtually tied with KHII to virtually tied with KHII *and* TP to 42% on TP to 48% on TP with Brawl makes no sense). So perhaps it's not the best judge. And my perception is that MGS4 has become less loved as it ages and people are more exposed to the flaws during replays.

This is what I'm thinking. I don't expect MGS4 to be as strong now as it was back in 2008-2009, and I don't think there's a huge strength difference between MGS3 and 4. It's possible. I want to take it. I really do.

Of course it does. MGS1 is probably still the strongest game in the series. It just depends on by how much and if you believe G/S/C was SORE THUMB'D round 1.

Judging by how well GSC held up to RBY and by how beastly RBY went on to be, I'm now surprised that GSC didn't outright beat Metal Gear in Round 1. It was absolutely SORE THUMB'D, and MGS had to contend with another semi-big PS1 game, to boot.

I like the bracket for the most part; too bad most of the good matches are with the untested games, though. Then again, the majority of the games are untested. My biggest disappoint is the fact that Brawl is facing Twilight Princess again... what a foregone conclusion. But now watch TP win....

It's the newest one. And, I wouldn't say the fanbase favors MKDS at all. It's a handheld and gets lots of complaints about snaking. The only clear-cut favorite I can sense is MK64, and maybe the original.

Speaking of the MGS division, I really wish MGS2 and MGS3 were paired together. We all know MGS4 is going to win.... okay, now watch MGS3 pull the upset now.

Kingdom Hearts vs. Kingdom Hearts II - who do you guys got? I figure the original is going to take it; three years ago I would have taken the second one, though. It seems the tables have turned; isn't KH1 higher on the FAQs now? but I'm not nearly confident at all.

Wait, the Batman game is actually popular? I took Psychonauts over it. I guess I should switch it around or something...hey, I haven't paid attention to games at all for like three years.

"Pokemon Crystal" - any chance that the lack of "Gold" or "Silver" in the title, or the fact that it's no longer three versions, could hurt its chances? In Crystal's defense, it will be facing MGS4 (assuming both games make it there) in the day.
