You
have some good points, Leon - particularly regarding its 2000 release
date. Even still though, between HG/SS and the hype for Black and
White, I think G/S will be able to pull through; I could definitely be
wrong, though. Half-Life 2 is a good choice! I thought about including it on my list instead of MGS4. --- Watch Fox's RUNNING WILDE, airing Tuesdays at 9:30 EST! Will Arnett and Keri Russell in the same show - how can you top that?!? |

I'd go as far as to call Brawl and TP locks for #1 seeds (both earned 1s in '09). For the other two I'm leaning towards MGS4 and G/S/C, but I'm admittedly not sold on that final spot. Since
nominations coincided with the release of Reach, I think the original
Halo has a very legit shot at getting a one-seed. For some reason,
though, I just can't see Twilight Princess getting a one-seed; maybe
all the negativity surrounding the game has clouded my judgment,

Good
point about Reach; the original Halo very well may have stolen another
one-seed. I don't believe in Halo 2 or Halo 3 being capable of that
honor, though they might become over-seeded (more than usual)
too...and, uh, maybe those other Halo-games like ODST and whatever that
RTS-game was got super-lucky because of it too, though I figure they'll

far, no tidbit. 2 of the tidbits came between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM and
the other one was between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM. Well, we are coming up

what are we thinking Bacon's "twist" will be? It's a second way to win
prizes, so I'm guessing it'd have to be some side contest based on
match results. I'm thinking it'd have to be an Oracle Challenge
(guessing winning percentage), Prophet Challenge (guessing vote
differential), or Spread Betting of some kind. It's supposed to be
something that will keep people coming back every day. They could all

dunno. Creating match pics is more of a niche thing that only a small
number of people are interested in doing. I figure Bacon would want to
do something that anyone who visits the site can and would want to

Betting of some kind. It's supposed to be something that will keep
people coming back every day. They could all be pretty interesting
ideas. Is there anything else that he could do? An official Oracle, Prophet, or Spread Betting contest? No
way we're going two and a half weeks without a bracket or especially a
week after vote-ins, especially with SB acknowledging the pressure to
get this off the ground and done before the end of the year...I hope.
It might not be Monday, but this is coming soon and there's not an
excuse for not having it by Monday anyway. Besides, he may be
able to continue the tidbits after the bracket is released anyway --
it's hard to tell what all counts and doesn't count as a tidbit to him. --- This sig-space should be replaced by any number of GameFOX-sigs I made to support Epona from LoZ:OoT to make the next Character Battle. |
