Lets
say its the typical month inbetween brackets coming up and the contest
starting. If its not till October 1st, that brings us till Nov 1st or
so beginning, and if its the typical 63 day contest, that'll interfere
with the polls for game of the year. Today may be about the latest the
bracket can come out and still have the typical month for making

for game of the year It would also interfere with the "Got Console?" polls that we get every year, starting on the day after Christmas. Today may be about the latest the bracket can come out and still have the typical month for making brackets without getting in the way of the GOTY polls. Besides the last contest having a bracket entry phase lasting about a month (due to the Christmas vacation and GotY polls), we've never had a bracket entry phase lasting about a month.
