He probably didn't view it as a sequel in the traditional sense. This poll would be much longer if he was including every big name sequel releasing this year, or early next year, so he probably went with some of the newer, more obvious ones.

Also, shame Mario Galaxy 2 isn't doing better. Mario games never get any hype, but losing to Pokemon when it's a couple weeks away is rough.

Fair enough. That said, the poll really just needed to be the most hyped game in general instead of separating sequels, spin-offs, original titles, and whatever else.

Also, I just realized Portal 2 was snubbed. Terrible. It would have been a big contender in this poll.

You've been quite awesome this offseason, I'll have you know. Sucks the board totally died, because the NIT deserves votals. Offseason board contests in general have way fewer votals than usual. Even uoty has slacked off a bit of late.

The votals are acceptable some days. Sometimes they really flop which is discouraging, but if I'm getting 30-40 votes I'm pretty happy. I don't have the star power to attract too much more than that, especially in an off season setting like you said. I plan to make this an annual (or however many contests there are per year) event though, so hopefully in time it'll continue to come along.
