I don't think the split among states would be that different, then again Canada votes about twice as much as the US (in terms of percent of population)

wyoming probably is something like 0.03%, but we need confirmation damnit.

Apparently Wyoming has a population around 544,000. If we assume the rate of Gamefaqs usage is the same there as it is across the US, and that we would get 120,000 votes a poll (24 hours) normally, with 80,000 coming from the US (seems about right), then we'd expect about 145 votes a day from Wyoming.

544k is actually a lot more than I thought the population of Wyoming would be. I guess all the 200-person towns add up when you have that big an area.

One of the characters in Monster Hunter will support Big Boss in the game, and then you'll get to fight some of the more popular Monster Hunter creatures over co-op. That's about all the collaboration is. Cool for Japan, not much news for a US/EU audience!

Found an absolute gem while going through my PCA edits on the Wiki. Snake vs Squall 2006:

There was a lot of upset discussion going into this match, based off of 2005 stats:

Snake (2005c) VS Squall (2005c)

Snake has a strength of 36.97.
Squall has a strength of 35.16.

Snake wins with 52.45% of the vote!
A win of 4,945 with 100,996 total votes cast.

Assuming a standard Snake tank-job (happens every year) paired with a potential KH2 boost for Squall, you end with a longshot upset and some noisy fans throwing numbers around. It all made enough sense, but that's.... why they play the games. </Berman>

All talk of an upset died within minutes of this match beginning; Snake took a comfortable lead and ran with it, with Squall giving no indication of ever coming back. In fact the polar opposite of an upset was taking place in that Snake was doing much better than his value prediction, and on a KH2 Squall to boot. This was the first true indication that Snake was on steroids this contest, and we all know it wouldn't be the last. Just glancing at the updater, I think Squall only won one update; that's pretty bad considering how close these two were in the stats.

I think the only way we might be able to get him to reveal the numbers in each poll is for all of us to send in a feedback ticket asking him to do it. Making a petition over at Site Suggestions probably won't work out too well, as a mod might end up closing the topic.
