Nominations
aren't everything. Even if it goes against nomination counts, I think
it would be better if different fans got to see a character they like
than seeing the contest catering to the same small fanbase over and

If Edgeworth gets a second investigation game then I think he stands out enough on his own to earn a place. But honestly, I'd like the western guys to give us something more substantial. Shephard/Altair gave us hope, but in the end they didn't really impress that much. Big Daddy woooooooo, but yeah Niko Bellic, you suck. --- Dr_Football wrecked my bracket with his awesome goals. |

Nothing wrong with communism, in theory. Though yeah, if Guybrush can reach the top 80 most nominated than he should get in the bracket. Honestly
though, once you start refusing to count Guybrush noms, then thats a
slippery slope. Why should Bacon feel the need to count noms of any

So basically, you want to make it a communist regime instead of a democracy where the people choose their elected characters. I wouldn't like either extreme. I thinking more along the lines of a Benevolent Dictatorship. SBAllen would mostly follow public opinion but can make changes wherever he wants if it would make a better contest. --- Dr_Football punted my bracket across the field. Though
I think Guybrush gets in even with vote ins, unless Bacon sticks him
with another lucas arts adventure character. He has a hardcore enough

I'm not so sure if fans of a joke character who hasnt been funny in nearly a decade are very hardcore. People felt that he should have done a lot better. I would be thrilled if Marina Lightyears could make it in "only" every couple of contests. I don't see why 10% is out of the question at all. If a static percentage exists for Guybrush, it sure as hell ain't 10%. Also, Guybrush has almost no characters that could LFF him in vote-in

do know that you probably only need less than 500 nominations to get a
9 seed, that won't exactly save you. Guybrush probably does have a
hardcore fanbase, but it isn't anywhere close to the 10% that you
think. Heck you'd think the game would have done better if that was the

you can get. Lets say he gets only 10k in a vote in... Thats over 10%
due to most of those polls having under 100k votes. If theres anyone
who has a static vote base in these contests, its him. First of all you think Guybrush can get 10k votes no matter what? Second of all vote totals change throughout the years and so will Guybrush.
