I've
been wondering if in the off season anyone would be interested in a
reordering of the 2002 X-Stats (and possibly one's from future
contests.) Now that 8 years have passed and we have a better idea of
where characters stand/stood, we should be able to adjust their numbers
in a more unbiased manner. Would anyone else be interested? I guess we
could have a group of whoever is interested, and then all vote on the

The Snake/Mario/Samus trio, where Sephiroth fits in, who'd be #8-10 after Mega Man, etc. I was thinking choosing matches we all want to see, and picking the most popular matches between two characters. Like we'd debate whether we want to see Mario vs Snake or Mario vs Cloud more, or if it'd be a good idea to have the winner of Mario/Snake to go on to face Cloud, or whatever. It'd take awhile to do, especially with 128 characters, but it is the off-season. Not like there'll be much else to do! --- Not Wylvane Dr Football Factor'd. |

For 2002, let's see we have... We also have: Mario anti-votes West Division Factor (Probably the first issue discussed since it effects the top Non-Link people) Snake/Squall SFF Plus other debatable stuff. I don't know how anyone can hate anyone in the FF13 cast. They're all awesome in their own unique way. They're pretty much the opposite of the FF8 cast! --- Not Wylvane Dr Football Factor'd. |

The quickest way might be for someone (your idea, so if you're around perhaps you'd be best?) to make a list of the big questions and post them, with everybody voting. e.g. a bracket that almost assured Mario/Cloud vs. one that assures Mario/Snake. One thing we can all agree on though I think is that we need a Sephiroth vs. Samus match. --- Voluntarily devotion of sig to give props. Congrats andylt for the best contest season ever (#1 Oracle, #3 leaderboard). |

So where would everyone rank this contest in terms of the others? I'm not sure myself. SC2K3 and the original Games Contest are still my favorites, and I have a hard time seeing anything top those two, but it was solid. Better than SC2K4, SC2K6, SC2K8, and any of the other Spring Contests, that's for sure. Not sure if I'd rank it above SC2K5 or SC2K7 though. --- "Stay with me until the end, Dr_Football. Please." Mario anti-votes Can't really fix that, we haven't seen Morrigan or Servbot since. West Division Factor (Probably the first issue discussed since it effects the top Non-Link people) The WDF is caused because we equaled 2002 Link with 2003 Link. Wind Waker not doing anything?
