Zard looks to have boosted prior to the Bowser match. Easily accounted for. Tifa's actually probably underrated because she probably would've done

So
this year, after adjustments, looks like the NN is the closest it's
been in a long long time. If Crono = Missigno, and Mario >=
Snake/Samus, everyone except Sonic the Failhog are likely within 5% of

If Cloud still looks as strong as ever despite Snake, it doesn't really show Link as this unstoppable juggernaut that is just wasting space in the contest, which... he pretty much is in 1v1. Snake isn't going to get any higher, and I don't even think FF7 remake would boost Cloud over Link, nor can I see any new character come close to Link, including Lightning. No jokes are going to touch Link in 1v1 either. So I want Link to crush Cloud hard, not just because I like Link more, and not just because I want Mario to look fantastic in the x-stats, because I actually want Link to get the hell out and for the winner of the contest to actually be in doubt for once, even if Cloud wins like we all expect. --- Not Wylvane |

Outside
of the Samus match (and now the Sephiroth match), Tifa has never looked
as strong as Squall/Vinny. Vincent was likely SFF'd, but Tifa's

Wasn't
there discussion here that Vincent would be more likely to suffer SFF
than Tifa from Sephiroth due to Vince and Seph having a similar appeal
with the grim and dark attitudes? --- Fast Falcon ate my bracket for dinner in the guru contest. |

Tifa has never looked as strong as Squall/Vinny. Well there is the problem where Tifa hasn't had the chance to look good, her only true year if you don't include this year was 2005. Squall (2005c) VS Tifa (2005c) Squall has a strength of 35.16. Tifa has a strength of 33.57. Squall wins with 52.26% of the vote! A win of 4,595 with 101,617 total votes cast.
