Same here. Really, I'd be fine with a Pokemon-poll for each generation. The board's going to be Poke-hunting big-time now that the series had such a great year and have proven themselves one-on-one, so let's just get the big-names of each generation out there somehow and decide who's the best from there.

Just saw what happened last night. It actually makes perfect sense that Cloud would win the "early" night vote and then fall with the total domination zone. What happened was, mainland Europe woke up first and favored Cloud heavily. Then the UK woke up, which was Snake's stronghold over there.

Mainland Europe and UK have the same time zone.

The UK uses GMT +0, while mainland Europe uses GMT +1, GMT +2, and GMT +3. Western mainland Europe is mostly GMT +1, Eastern Europe is mostly GMT +2, while western Russia is GMT +3.

It seems that the 53-47 relationship for Cloud/Sephiroth has roughly held after all. Sephiroth would've gotten about 48% on Snake in a 24-hour match, and Cloud won't push 52% here. So Cloud should get 53%-54% on Seph indirectly.

Snake also looks to be at roughly 52% on Samus indirectly, assuming Cloud would've gotten 53.5%-54% on Samus in a 24 hour poll.

Plus, the fact its a night match is almost as big of a disadvantage to Pikachu as the pic for Snake. I'd say it pretty much offsets. Maybe 57% for Snake in a full 24 hour match with a normal pic.
