(Ulti's comments do not apply. It amazes me as well that so many people haven't played Portal when it's like 5 bucks downloadable on Steam and 3 hours long! >_>)

Duke Nukem 3-D just gave me like 30+ hours for my five bucks!

Link's overall prediction percentage is starting to get a bit low but we still have over 50% of the brackets with Link in the finals. Pretty much everyone near the top knew Link was going to make it. 1003 out of the top 1028 brackets had Link in the finals. Prediction percentage stays aboe 90 until you reach the 254 brackets who are 66 points off perfect.

Everyone on the Top 50 had Link winning the contest so naturally no one fell off the Top 50.

Least favorite groups for me:

1. Brawl - easily the worst we've seen on the board, and for such a long time, and the social board members that came over here are horrible.

2. Anti-Sony circa 2006 - We get it, you're insecure. Glad most of you have tucked tail and run over the the king :) We need peasants to tax.

3. Anti-WoW circa 2004-2006 - YOU HAVE TO PAY A MONTHLY FEE ROFL.

4, Anti-Microsoft current - the hardware issues deserve it, but the "EVERYTHING IS ON PC ROFL" arguments are just so stupid. This includes the anti-Halo crowd that gets so irate about a good FPS game becoming popular because it was fun to play with other people. The same people cheered the Wii on so hard, just amazing.

5. Sonic fans, you're just making the problems even worse.

6. Nintendrones - Not Nintendo fans (I like Mario, Link, 2D Metroid, Wii Sports, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, etc.) but the people that say things like "The Wii has Super Paper Mario, Twilight Princess, and brings back component support! proof that Nintendo wanted the Wii to be about the gamer and that they care about gamers!" Luckily this is a lot smaller of a problem than you might suspect given that normal Nintendo fans are rampant but not really that bad.

7. Fire Emblem - just want to argue, want to bellow things and characterize outsiders opinions, love to spoil things for everyone just to argue, don't seem to actually enjoy the games.

8. Morrowind - You can't mention Oblivion without the same 5-10 people coming in and saying they liked Morrowind better. knock it off

9. The overall insecure guys. We have ONE topic about SOTC when it was out, everyone stuck to it, and then we had a Colossus contest of some sort, and at no point did anyone say "you just don't get it, I guess" about people that didn't like the game, yet we had a few people act like we were this total elitist dickbag community, which was interesting because really it applied the other way around.

10. MGS3-MGS4 era MGS/Snake fans, these guys cared nothing about warnings for spoilers, and probably overdid it with Snake love. Then again, I've only played 1-2 so I'm willing to change my mind if Snake somehow becomes a lot better in 4.

11. FFXIII/KH/etc - the guys that just post and makes topics for every little thing they do or think regarding the game. FFXIII guys don't seem to care about moderate spoilers. Weird because again, a lot of these people otherwise seem sensitive to them. Pokemon guys do this too but for some reason it never bothers me, and I like FF and don't really enjoy Pokemon games. huh.

12. Tales - In a match after a Tales character lost, someone claimed the current match produced the most whining so I bumped up 20 more topics about Tales whining than what was being claimed. The Tales whiners are more of the newbies that don't stick around, but it's definitely there. I;m anti-ToS, but have no real care about the other Tales games. This board was pretty annoying when ToS was making the roungs, same as #11 really and I'm not sure why I have it this low.

Sorry neon, but insecurity had nothing to do with it. Sony deserved every bit of that criticism for their awful E3 and trying to push a $600 system without any killer apps, but the biggest reason was Kutaragi's awful attitude. The guy just bled cockiness and egoism, and he deserved to get slapped down a couple of dozen pegs. Sony has turned it around now and most people now see them in a favorable light because they're offering a well-priced console with some great games, but they sucked in 06.

"PS3 hardware BROKEN/Sony going out of business/etc", the stuff where everyone was actively rooting against them and posting lies and made up stuff, being proven wrong, and then just posting it again and again anyway. Things have gone almost exactly as I said they would. I know the internet took hold of that E3 pretty well, but it didn't mean Sony didn't have an awesome machine that was a great value for 2006. Anti-Sony in 2006 was unbearably stupid. Giant Enemy Crab was funny, but when it was used in every topic that people wanted to talk about their PS3? bad as hell.
