Anyway,
Mortal Kombat is easily the worst. I'm biased, but when Mortal Kombat
vs. DC Universe was announced, there were multiple people with
collections worth thousands putting everything on eBay. Most of them

Mario dont have a good fanbase. Gaiden, not sure of. F-Zero, actually does have a good fanbase. Except with the whole Falcon Punch deal, other than that rather pleased and presentable. --- Ah, you know it's funny, these people, they go to sleep. played FFIX earlier this year and I have no idea why it's not loved
more within the FF base. It had a couple of flaws, yes, but it's not

than the Cloud board vote which is still bad relative to the whole day,
Link's first 30 seconds has been just horrible. He rose like 18% from
the 100 vote mark to the freeze against Sonic, a huge number against
Mario too. --- 2010 Extrapolated Standings: Crono gets 46.85% on Sephiroth. All you need now is KH3 or SSB4, Crono. Then your quest shall be fulfilled! |

yeah, FFXII's fanbase isn't exactly "chill." There's one FFXII fanboy
in particular who completely derailed one of my FF Character Ranking
topics when I ranked Vayne near the bottom. But for what it's worth, his points were very well made and I respect his opinions. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

How are Phoenix Wright fanboys not on this list? My general perception of fanboys of the Ace Attorney series is that they're too busy fighting amongst each other as to who's the best character / which game is best / which case is best to give a damn about everyone who's never played it. Ace Attorney's too niche a title to win contests, so you rarely see them riled when Phoenix or Edgeworth loses a match. It's far more likely to see the Edgeworth fanboys and the Phoenix fanboys fight amongst each other as to who's the best character, or fights among 1-4, 2-4 and 3-5 fanatics, or fights among those who liked and those who hated Apollo Justice, or fights between those who thought AAI was a step forward and those who thought AAI was a step back. |

I trend I've seen is that the lighter the tone of the game is, the
better the fanbase will be. Fans of a lighter-toned game don't feel the

you're not "in" on the whole Phoenix Wright thing, it can be one of the
worst fanbases around. Hell, I was into Phoenix Wrong for a while and I
still get annoyed. And yeah, I haven't seen many chill FFXII fans. I don't even click on the topics anymore at Neogaf. |

It
looks like that theory of "bandwagons are either very mild in 1v1 or
don't form at all" was probably true. I thought Snake would boost at
least somewhat, but that seem implausible right now. Pretty much all the evidence - Snake, Missingno, Tifa - seems to indicate no real bandwagons of note this contest. I'm still surprised that Missingno didn't boost more than a couple of points maybe for the Sephiroth match. The only real 1v1 bandwagon we've ever seen was Starcraft, which was pretty mild really, and explained mostly by stuffing (which was much much easier back then). --- gamefaqscontests.com gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |
