A = Strongest Character
B = Character Weaker than A

To figure out a character's Xsts Percentage ---> [(CvB)(BvA)]/50 = CvA
To compare how C would do against B ---> [(CvA)/(BvA)]*50 = CvB
To figure out how B would do against A ---> [(CvA)/(CvB)]*50 = BvA

~*Say What? Some Common Stat Topic Lingo Defined*~

SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote, because the Zelda fanbase so clearly sided with him. However, take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make total sense. This has caused a few SFF jokes, with LordOfDabu's "Some Frivolous Factor" being the funniest of them.

X-Stats - Short form of Extrapolated Statistics, aka the mathematical "strength" of a contestant that can be determined based on their performance in any given matchup. See above for a detailed explanation of the x-stat process.

Noble Nine - Link, Cloud, Solid Snake, Sephiroth, Mario, Crono, Sonic, Samus and Mega Man.

Near-Elite - The Squall, Auron, Vincent, Kirby, Missingno, Charizard, et al group that has come at, near or even ahead of Noble Nine characters recently.

The Fodder Line - A final X-Stat value of 15% or below.

It's not. After Sonic got nearly 70%'d, Mario isn't coming even close, but as fans we can't help but joke about it.

Makes sense to me! Mario still beats Link because Link has a major deboost and rSFFs Snake to win anyway! Snake > Sephiroth > Mario > Snake!

In other news it's too bad Missingno wasn't placed near Link on the bracket, because I think that could have wreaked absolute havoc. Particularly if Missingno still beat a character like Crono first.

If it faced and soundly defeated a number of high-tier characters, it'd have started a bandwagon. And then Missingno would have the advantage of facing a Nintendo as opposed to an FF character, which might have favored it. I'm willing to bet a decent number of Zelda fans are also Pokemon fans.

If there was even a chance in hell Missingno won that match, this place would be chaos. Particularly if Missingno somehow managed to beat Link, and then went up against a character with a fanbase drastically different than Nintendo's -- like Cloud -- and Missingno somehow hit a stone wall, lost, and left a Link-less bracket. Would infuriated Nintendo fans actually somehow push Samus over Cloud in retaliation?

I think that would be my favorite possible hypothetical scenario for a future contest. A renowned joke character popular with Nintendo-leaning voters wins a few big matches, goes up against Link and carries the L-Block effect, and then slams into another fanbase, leaving everyone wondering exactly what the hell just happened. Chaos.

Not sure who i want to nominate either, i will most probably let B8 decide my nomination. That character must be from any of these series "FF8, MGS series, Street Fighter Series and Pokemon Series". Of course that has to depend on what contest we are having and i am still skeptical about my chance of winning the guru.
