This makes Squall look like a beast. He'd still be heavily favored over Sonic I think. The discussion started because people were saying FF7 gets anti-votes because they're not "icons", but they were about as iconic as Snake today (Cloud moreso than Snake today perhaps) and still getting hate votes back in the day. Cloud
probably picks up 2% from making the match 24 hours. On the other hand,
Snake will probably get bandwagon votes. I imagine the trends will play
out more like the final last year than the semifinal (meaning don't
panic is Snake is way way way ahead in the Power Hour). --- 2010 Extrapolated Standings: Crono gets 46.85% on Sephiroth. All you need now is KH3 or SSB4, Crono. Then your quest shall be fulfilled! |

visited a site like Newgrounds or others that house flash animations?
If so, how many hundreds of times have you seen a parody of the codec
messages or the cardboard box? And how many times have you seen a
parody of....whatever the heck it is that Sephiroth does? |

I'm
not sure which I would prefer, Cloud winning that match easily, or
Snake getting a 3000 vote lead by 2 AM and Cloud coming all the way
back, storming into the lead around 7 PM, and getting it up to 1000+ by

Forgive the ramblings of this here hapless FFVII fanboy, but I'm getting a little bit nostalgic at the sight of FFVII staring into the eyes of oblivion. It's only downhill from here. Well, I'm at least glad that it is Snake that is putting Sephiroth down. Best character of the current and previous generation. And I actually know it's annals :p that was just a typo. Really,
Sephiroth may be well known in RPG circles, but Snake is well known
throughout the gaming community. I'd also take issue with saying
Sephiroth is the "most well-known villain" as I'd argue that Bowser,

Snake. Why must you do this to innocents! I don't like being collateral
damage in your war against FF7! Link vs. Mario...I have no idea if Link will get his standard 61-62% on Mario, or Mario will get some bandwagon and get 42-43% as Link reverts to his more vulnerable self from earlier in the contest.
