Well,
looks like Cloud is gonna do his usual rising for the rest of the
match, and most likely win the morning block about 53-47. Probably
finishes around 52.5%. --- derp |

The
only thing Sephy has going for him at this point is that the one match
where most agree Cloud looked pretty good was against Ryu, a day match.
Now granted Ryu is no day beast but neither is Snake. I suppose
Sephiroth/Tifa might have something to say...but eh, that was just an
exceptional match. |

important thing is that Samus showed that it could be done. Make this a
day match, things get closer. Put Mario here, he wins. Next year, Samus
vs. Cloud rematch? Cloud better watch himself. This'll end up 52-48 it
seems, maybe a little closer thanks to the morning vote. But next year, if Link gets taken out... It'll be fun. |

Samus
is done. Cloud won't need to get more of a lead than this. We've
already seen Samus's best hours in hours 1-3 I think. Morning vote is

In
every match that Solid Snake* has appeared in since being announced for
Brawl, his day vote has ranged from decent to good-ish. We haven't seen
it this year so it's possible it might have fallen off, but that just

I'm confused Is FF7 stronger at night, since the traditionally more pro-FF7 matter more or Is FF7 stronger in the day, since anti-votes are diluded it's got to be one or the other, so which is it? --- Ours is not to reason why, ours is but to do and die. |

was at 50.81% at this point in time against Missingno. Cloud is now at
51.20% right now, so if Cloud continues rising at around the same rate

guess this is what happens when the Europe vote doesn't overlap with
the late America vote. ASV style turnaround, instead of the gradual

there goes the 1000 vote barrier. Cloud's made a nice recovery here,
it's an underperformance alright but with so many factors working
against him he's not actually doing that bad anymore. I'd still take
him against an unbandwagon'd Snake. |

Assuming
Cloud continues to rise (just to a lesser extent) with the morning
vote, this could've actually turned into a halfway passable 54-46 by
the end of the match, were it a 24-hour match, with the Power Hour out
of the way. As it is though, Cloud should just be thankful he's going

I can't believe I voted for Cloud. But I did. But Mario is surely a good few steps ahead of Samus...so Mario > Cloud now? We need to see that match (again, of course), to prove once and for all who is stronger. A sequel to quite possibly the greatest contest match ever...wouldn't we all like it? (of course, I'd like to see this same thing but with games instead of characters first) |

Yeah,
Samus had her shot in the most favorable timeframe I think. Maybe you
could argue a 12 hour day match would be better off for her, but if
Snake can pull it off in a full 24 then I think you have to give him
the benefit of the doubt. That's obviously not assured, which is the
