It's
faintly possible that FF7 is just anti-voted to hell, at least if some
of the new people that appear here to tell us all about how FF7 always
wins can be trusted as representation of the whole, but I don't really
believe it. Cloud/Sephiroth are just no longer untouchable, and Link
still is. A FF7 decay has been forecast for several years now, and it
seems it's finally here. Probably have a big problem on our hands barring a total Link drop off. He may start dominating this contest even more than he ever has before. Snake won't get any stronger and is probably already weaker than 2008. We obviously need Dark Link in here to usurp him. --- :> |

Doesn't
even matter anymore who ends up winning this match, either way, wow,
and bringing the competition closer to each other, next contest, it
won't be so easy to just have Cloud win any match where he's not facing
Cloud, and Sephiroth winning any match where he's not facing Link or

Actually,
if Samus ends up winning this match, I hope Snake wins because

v Samus was the 2k6 final. Samus won with some breathing room, but
Snake's had MGS4/Brawl's release since then, so opinions have been

Hmm,
and Samus beat Snake easily, huh. But Snake has certainly become
stronger since then. Would definitely be interesting now.... Could set it up next contest so Elite 8 is Link vs. Mario, Cloud vs. Seph, Snake vs. Samus, Sonic vs. MM. Come on, Bacon! --- green white red |

Cloud was up 12 to start the hour, so he actually needs a 61 vote gain to win it. Not happening. And Samus has cut another half percent off of Cloud's Europe lead. She may stall this through the dead hours. |

Samus doing better the second hour compared to the first is evidence that there could be some
bandwagon/rallying starting to kick in now, perhaps due to how
competitive she's keeping it. She's gonna need to increase that by
leaps and bounds if she wants to actually keep this sliver of hope

Either
Samus is cheating and someone in Europe is doing it or she's actually

My
best case scenario is for Cloud to win, but Samus to come as close as
possible and lose in as tragic a fashion as possible. So far, we seem
