Can't we just say the Pokemon are collectively Star of the Contest? Well, Missingno, Charizard, and to a lesser extent Pikachu. Mewtwo and Red didn't exactly impress, though at least Red had an exciting match. --- Not Wylvane |

Bless you Snake/Sora match pic The Snake/Seph ones really don't match up to the Samus/Cloud's, but I didn't really expect them to... I'm just glad Snake has a fighting chance in all the pictures. And without a single use of Brawl Snake! fictional character over Crono. I'm not sure if I'd vote for anyone
over Link either other than Crono and Serge. Maybe Darth Vader or

What exactly is supposed to be going on there? The art style is straight from an MGS4 promo art (which Snake's picture is from). Snake disintegrating refers to the fact that his time is quickly running out. I just love the style, and that Sephiroth pic is great as well. Interesting
how Star Wars would be one of the deepest and strongest pools we have,
and Luke is the main character of the original trilogy, yet he'd be
midling in terms of tiers within his own series. Vader, Yoda, Han would

Princess Leia might even beat Luke, especially with the right pic (wink wink). Heck, Chewie may even beat him. And Admiral Ackbar has incredible joke potential. Especially now in the South because he is viewed as the mascot for the University of Mississippi. |

I'd
vote for Luke over Vader! I actually think he'd do pretty well against
other SW characters. He's the hero, and you can build attachment to him
kind of like you build an emotional attachment to Link. We've seen
heroes crush fan favorites before (Crono > Magus). I'll agree that
Vader would be the strongest SW character though, as long as he doesn't
get an Anakin Skywalker picture. --- 2010 Extrapolated Standings: Crono gets 46.85% on Sephiroth. All you need now is KH3 or SSB4, Crono. Then your quest shall be fulfilled! |

would vote for Luke over nearly everyone in Star Wars as well, if not
everyone. I'm kinda undecided about Han or Vader, but I think I'd still

You know, I'm thinking about what my ideal final field would be. It would definitely involve Batman, Link, Vader, Cloud, Sephiroth, probably Mario, and...maybe Snake and Spider-Man? Just imagine the possibilities - Vader/Sephiroth, Batman/Cloud, Mario/Spider-Man...the mind swirls with possibility! Man a contest like that can't come soon enough. Hmm,
you know, for all people are saying there's a bandwagon here the votals
say otherwise. 3000 less than Charizard/L-Block, 2000 above
Charizard/Kratos, and pretty much exactly the same as Charizard/Bowser.

Oh
yeah, and I'm definitely a Luke Skywalker fan. His growth from farm boy
looking out at the sun, wishing for adventure into Jedi badass is
probably the most enduring element about Star Wars. I'd still vote Darth over him though. And don't sleep on Boba Fett. voting for Charizard when they would have otherwise voted Mario, and
we've seen how easy it is to sway the average voter. This performance's
illegitimacy is perhaps the most ridiculously obvious fact of the

match will put Bowser around 42% on Mario. That's around where the
ratio was in 2003, but the gap has been bigger ever since 2005. I wish Crono had been put in L-Block's place, and this round were 24-hour matches.
