Luigi
has always been a nintendo mainstay -- I doubt that Link has the power
to SFF Luigi very much. Plus they matched up when people were still
anti-voting the top three characters a lot. Falcon also got 30% on

course Sonic got SFFed, but he wouldn't have been SFFed this horribly
in past years. He's certainly quite weak and might be below a number of
other non-Noble 9ers. The Zard of today would probably handle pretty
easily for instance. Missingno likely beats him via round 1 base
strength alone. Sonic probably wouldn't get 55/45ed by Auron, but
that's not saying much. His strength has taken a tumble. I think Zard takes the ASV, but not by as much as he did against Yoshi. Also even if he does take the ASV, that doesn't necessarily mean he finishes higher than he is now - although his SNV is pretty good too, and I don't think Mario's SNV is that great. Sonic team made its best showing this year in years. That's a sad statement if 52% on Cecil and 30% on Link qualifies as your best showing in years. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

Dear Charizard, HOLY EFF WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Sincerely, HaRRicH I'm not convinced this is a bandwagon though. This isn't the first time we've seen a newcomer impress in most of their matches and finish strong -- hello Vincent. He even had FF:AC leak just before his match with Crono, and many of us wrongly thought he benefited from the leak/bandwagon. Charizard has some differences with Vincent (HGSS is bigger than the FF:AC-leak, Charizard won a sixteen-character division instead of an eight-character division, and Charizard had a lower prediction percentage for winning his division than Vincent), but Charizard's also a Nintendo character against Mario so it's not like you're ever going to easily form a bandwagon against him. It's not like Charizard's a starter-Pokemon in HGSS either (nor do I think it's even in the game), so who knows what the game is really doing for it. Then again, this makes the likes of Duke Nukem look great, though he had been looking better in recent years than ever before too so I don't know how fair it is to still shun him. Fantastic showing from Charizard, especially if he wins the ASV. I bet we get two Pokemon-characters to win spots in the NRT this year and one of them to be the champion. --- Picking Auron > Squall was dumb, but not as dumb as thinking I could beat Leonhart! assuming Charizard holds on to 45% here (and he should), he joins an
elite group of non-Noble Nine characters who have broken 45% on Noble
Niners one-on-one! Here's the list: Zero (Sonic 2003) Aerith Gainsborough (Sonic 2003) Frog (Snake 2004) Zelda (Snake 2005) Bowser (Snake 2005) Tifa Lockhart (Samus 2006) Sora (Mega Man 2006) Vincent Valentine (Sonic 2006) Auron (Crono 2006) Missingno (Crono 2010, Sephiroth 2010) Kirby (Sonic 2010) Charizard (Mario 2010) Zelda barely missed making the list twice. Pikachu and Shadow barely missed making the list. We had several others who got 44%+ but didn't quite get to 45%. Missingno's the only one to make the list twice. Link and Cloud are the ones that have never had 45% put on them by a non-Noble Niner. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

Gary and Brock have anime boost. If they get anime pictures...Oh my. Gary would have to be named Green/Blue though. ...So Brock is the obvious choice. Imagine Brock+Anime picture. Who's to say that Knuckles didn't overperform on Squall for whatever reason? Oh, he certainly did. Squall/Knuckles was what overrated part of the Devil Division, not Vincent/Crono.
