Didn't realize that Mario was doing notably better in North/South America. Charizard is 50/50 in Europe and Asia and actually has a nice percentage lead in Oceania.

There were actually rumors before AJ was released that AJ was an alternate timeline that took place after the bad ending of 2-4.

Charizard obviously has some momentum here; he's outperforming Mega Man with ease. Mega Man would have killed him if this were Round 1.

Not to allude that he's a "joke" character or anything, but it'll be interesting to see if Charizard (or Pokemon in general) can maintain this strength or if this was just a passing wind. We know by now that Pikachu is very unreliable year to year, but Charizard probably doesn't have that level of discontentment that goes along with the rat.

That is a killing considering that Charizard is easily outperforming him now. This Charizard is significantly stronger than the one who got 64% on Duke.

He's significantly stronger than round 1 Charizard because of HG/SS. I dunno about this bandwagoning theory.....I'm skeptical it's helping him more than SFF is hurting him.

Well I think Link/Crono LFF and Samus/Crono LFF is obvious because they're all silent protagonists and good characters. Link and Crono are both time travelers too.

As if somehow 4ways would magically affect that specific set of characters so much worse than everyone else. Nope - Sonic has just fallen pretty far, no need for lame and fantastic 4way excuses. He certainly wouldn't have been SFFed to barely above Alucard levels back in the day. Time has not treated Sonic kindly.

I'm not even sure 55% on Kirby is good for a near-elite. Some of the near elites might beat that.

As for today and this, "Every match must have a bandwagoned result!" trend, I'm not a fan of it. Although I did vote for Zard, because he's a dragon.

And with the bandwagon effects continuing, tomorrow could be Doomsday for Final Fantasy VII. Cloud and Seph might get hit by W. Meteo.

Sonic team made its best showing this year in years. Just because you get blown out by Link doesn't mean you aren't strong. Keep in mind that Cloud doubled Sonic the year Cloud won. How is this a disappointing result for Sonic? It's right up his alley and says nothing of his strength.
