As a *complete* afterthought in 2008's final Crono managed 26.5% on Link - a far cry from Vincent's 21% in that match. Yeah, but he wasn't fanbase sharing on top of that (I doubt Cloud/Crono had any significant LFF). Snake got 26.80% on L-Block in that 2008 final, too. From victory to getting tripled over, what, 4 rounds? Nice. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

Yes, the Yoshi loss was bad at the time, but overall, he looks fine that year. 2k5 Dante is expected to get 40% on 2k5 Samus Remember how Snake 'looked bad' against Nintendo characters in 2k6? GameBoy Snake is expected to get 57% on Dante through a match where he supposedly underperformed for two reasons, one of which had allowed Bowser to almost beat him the year before. And at that point, it's not even worth considering, but Sephiroth gets 53.42% there. He did face Cloud that year, for whatever that's worth. Besides, I'm pretty sure that Dante overperformed on Vincent due to BRACKETS and being the 1 seed that year. Ok, so take away a few from Seph for anti-voting and rSFF, and take some away from Samus for the pic. I think even at 53% win over Samus with Seph that makes Tifa look way legit. In fact, I think she might be on Snake's level. I think Snake loses to Seph at 55-45 at least. at Tifa being at Snake's level, so you telling me that Big Daddy could
contend with Squall/Vincent or even better, Ness could suddenly beat
guys like Yoshi/Luigi/Ryu/Pikachu/Dante. This isn't just rSFF, this is just plain anti-votes and maybe backlash for beating Missingno. If Tifa can benefit so much of Sephiroth's anti-voting(she is still from FF7 though not as hated), imagine what Snake can do with those Sephy's anti-voting. --- Snake's Mission "To make it to the finals for the fourth consecutive times" |

No,
if Snake gets 43% on Seph it would work out to be Tifa around Snake's
strength, or just barely weaker. I figure account for 2 - 3% at most
from the anti-voting/rSFF, and then the same for the picture thing with
Samus. If that's the case, it should mean that Snake is stronger than
Tifa as long as he can keep above 43%. Otherwise I would say Tifa is
stronger. Also, I already explained as to why I think that Tifa doesn't blow out weaker characters so much. It's more of a hate/hardcore fanbase thing. I don't think she attracts a lot of casuals, and she gets anti-voted (although not as noticecably) because of her character design (rTJF). After all, any time you hear someone complain about Tifa it's "YOU GUYS JUST LIKE HER BECAUSE SHE HAS BIG BOOBS!!!!" --- The ultimate Snow fanboy - Curt Yeah...it probably is. And yeah, I don't know if you can really take this performance at face value. This match is one of three things to me: 1. Sephiroth is just weaker now (which is good news for Snake) 2. Sephiroth is getting anti-voted, either by Missingno supporters or people hoping for an upset (which is good news for Snake) 3. Tifa is rSFFing Sephiroth and/or Sephiroth SFF'd Vincent (which is the best scenario for Sephiroth) I don't really think it could be anything else. Tifa only getting 60.45% on Big Daddy and 62% on Gordon Freeman doesn't seem like "Strongest non-Noble Niner" numbers to me. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

FFVII is no longer the top dog around here, but it still obliterates everything but Ocarina, and nothing in the earlier, more "legit" 4way rounds suggested such a drop for Seph. He might be weaker just because more people are anti-voting him. nearly universally disliked while they seem to tolerate Cloud (more or
less), and then he had to go and beat Missingno, which pissed off a lot
