Yeah,
sweet concept, but Mario's not exactly in his best shape. He's all ice
in a picture from SMG against a fire-breathing dragon from RBY in a

Now that this match is over, time to make sense of the results! So this would seem odd, as the pokemon are all making weak characters look strong and strong characters look weak. What I mean is that Charizard getting 64% on Duke, 55% on Kratos, 60% on L Block and now 55% on Bowser is kind of odd. Same deal with Pika/Snake-that seems like a really odd overperformance by Pikachu. Well, I'm not saying I have all the answers, but transitivity might have something to do with it. I'd imagine that like Master Chief, pokemon has a love em or hate em fanbase. Perhaps they're even less transitive than we thought. Obviously this is not the most revolutionary idea, but it might explain it somewhat. Also, I don't doubt that the HG/SS release has something to do with it. As for Zard/Mario, despite what I have in my sig it's not happening due to the time-tested principle of it being freaking Mario --- Crazy Zard > Mario rally train BELIEVE!! http://i42.tinypic.com/4u8gtu.png |

And as much as I wanted to deny it, if Missingno
could nearly take down Sephiroth one-on-one, I was pretty much
horrified on what Charizard could do to lowly Bowser. Yeah, 'Zard isn't
a joke or whatever, but for that many people to go along with Missingno
means we have a hell of a lot of Pokefans on the site. All it takes is something like HGSS. Let's see how the King of SFF does next round (ps Mario is my second least-favorite NNer behind Sephy.
