Charizard
beating Bowser would surprise me a whole lot. I don't see that

just can't help but laugh at anyone who seriously believes that
MissingNo's strength is anywhere near legit. Come on. Some people are

Well,
no, I will give Mario his Big Boss percentage, especially considering
it was a night match. Not a perfect Naked Snake proxy, but based on
2008 it didn't really need to be for that to be impressive. He's got my

guess this is just me putting this out there for a total shutdown if it
goes wrong: I will be absolutely, 100% SHOCKED if Charizard does not
throttle Bowser. Honestly, I'd be 100% shocked if he did. Charizard > Bowser has never looked right to me. I just can't see it happening. Today being HG/SS day is the only reason I'd even give him a chance at winning. Bowser would win if they have a rematch next year, I'd practically guarantee it. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

I'm simply disappointed in the board. We're the people that are
supposed to love the contests the most. We like excitement. We like

If that was the only
pic, it'd be a significant advantage, but that's just one of a few.
There won't be any 'throttling' here, in any case. Neither one should
do beat the other too bad, but if anyone did it, I'd sooner put my

And the worst part of this match is that people will be gloating over it for 5 years, based on how Mario/Samus went. can at least take comfort in the board apparently taking the Megaman
threat seriously, KP. People didn't really believe Pikachu could win. --- 2010 Extrapolated Standings: Crono gets 46.85% on Sephiroth. All you need now is KH3 or SSB4, Crono. Then your quest shall be fulfilled! |

Hey,
I said I was ready for a total shutdown if it happened. People can rub
it in my face all they want if Bowser goes on to an easy victory (not
that I'll care *too* much considering the matches that follow it). I'm actually stunned that Charizard isn't an overwhelming favorite on the board by now. Zack > Mega Man and Ezio > Zelda possibilities had and still has people mocking me and making fun of me because I was being hopeful of an interesting contest and twisting stats to make it look possible. Mega Man never had a chance against Mario in the same way that Kirby never had a chance against Sonic, and Auron never had a chance against Squall etc etc. The difference with this match though is that Mega Man and Mario was never even going to be close. --- Curt - PSN - CPhoenixM I am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soul. |

Below 59% we go! Megaman will probably gain until about 2 AM, and it's all smooth sailing for Mario from then on. Anyways, I still think MM > Mario was an entirely reasonable upset after round 3. It was never likely to happen, and there was always the possibility that Mario would just dominate with SFF like he's doing here, but it was a far more possible upset than a ton of the stuff we talk about. --- 2010 Extrapolated Standings: Crono gets 46.85% on Sephiroth. is something more legitimate about Charizard as a pokemon in this
contest that doesn't apply to MissingNo, Mudkip, or even Pikachu on

Interesting
matches are great, especially all day close ones and such... but at the
end of the day I always vote for my favorite character in the poll. Not
whatever I think will make it "interesting". As I saw Leon say a few
topics ago, the only time I go against my favorites is when another
character is against them and doing very badly percentage wise. I mean really, people are going to vote for who they like more. I don't see how that justifies declaring everyone a disappointment. --- :> |

supporters crazy though. It was quite friendly until after the match
when it ripped open a torrent of recriminations about the x-stats and
