couldn't you say 12 hour matches skew the results too? there are chars that have terrible performances in europe vs the US. In a day match zero would have stayed higher vs auron.

To add discussion if we assume a constant sprite Pikachu Dante gets 42.46% on Solid ****. Pretty close to what Yoshi got in 2k6, but then again Dante's picture wasn't that great plus MGS4 came out.

If only Mega Man made Brawl, then we'd have the first five matches be all Brawl characters!

At least half the matches this round can still be recreated in Brawl!

Also you can blame it on the sprite, but to even look decent that sprite would have to account for a ridiculous amount of percentage -- and it was at night. Snake has looked horrible. I mean, taking 2007 Pikachu (inflated stats from 4 ways lol) and 2006 Sonic...Sonic would be projected to 68% on Pikachu. So you would have to assume a 13% swing from boosting and picture deficit just to make Snake this year = 2006 Sonic.

Come on, Snake supporters, give it up. He had a good couple years because of 4 ways and Brawl/MGS4 hype...but he's done.

Yeah, sure.

So how about that 58% for Sonic? He's really getting stronger as the match goes on huh?

I knew the FFVII spoiler before playing it, and still loved it. I doubt knowing a spoiler thats much smaller then that one will impact enjoyment at all

He knows this though. A common courtesy would have been not to do that in here, and if he really cared make an ATTN topic.

It's not going to ruin the entire game, but I'm still not happy about it. Given how he's talked about FFXIII in the past I don't know that this wasn't intentional.

Hint: Just because they're clearly marked doesn't mean you'll automatically miss them if you're hitting page up or page down and it winds up right in your face.

Thank goodness I didn't read whatever it was Albion posted.

It was hard though, because that text in the middle totally jumps out at you. I really had to catch myself. The natural reaction of your eyes is to go right to that line. I probably read that by accident 80% of the time.

Like I said, it's not his fault Gamefaqs is a decade behind in forum technology, but he knows this. His entire attitude leading up to FFXIII's release stunk, and this was just something that was totally unnecessary. You don't post spoilers for newly released games in this topic. You just don't do it.

I don't think he actually meant anything bad. But it was a poor decision on his part to post that considering a couple people got spoiled and some others only narrowly missed getting spoiled.

You people whine too much. Jesus. He marked it. You as a board knowing that the spoiler tags don't exist have just as much a burden to be wary of spoilers. He marked them. Stop whining.

I really don't see how you can defend Snake on his performances this year -- but whatever. That road can be passed when it comes time for Snake vs. Squall. Sonic vs. Link should be interesting to see where Sonic really is. Assuming that Kirby = Dante that at least should put Sonic above the Vincent/Squall tier in peoples' eyes.

For Samus sprites or game history, the well-known stuff is Metroid, Super Metroid, Fusion, Zero Mission, Prime and the Smash series, right?

For Cloud, it would be FF7, Advent Children, Dissidia, uh.... anything else?
