I'm not seeing how Sonic is doing well here.

Unless you define "SONIC IS ****ING BACK" as "Sonic is managing not to get killed by Kirby 5 minutes in"

He lost to this opponent last time without any weird SFF opponents in the mix. If Kirby is at that Luigi/Yoshi/Bowser level and Sonic manages the 55%+, that's pretty damn good after what we saw from him in 2008. He probably gives Vincent/Squall/Auron one hell of a 1v1 fight, which is also a bit better than most of us expected from him.

Not really. I've never understood why people have such an obsession with stats topic e-dickery. Calling a debatable match is as much luck as it is prediction skills. And the people in this match all picked Sonic! This is even more pathetic in that it's people laughing at other people arguing for an outside shot. That's just sad.

Aw well Kirby.

And it's hard for me to believe in Ganondorf > Kirby considering how they did last year (the character who defeated Sonic being weaker than the character who got SFFd down to Gordon Freeman's level, and by a character who usually sucks at SFFing no less?).

And while it makes perfect sense that Sonic characters take a hit in 4-ways, I would've thought that Kirby would take a hit as well, but then again I don't really understand why Kirby fans are more loyal than Sonic fans. Blah.

One difference is that Sonic isn't going to increase from this point on as much as he did against BluePigDorf, especially considering the ASV. Oh, and we need to see Ganon's LttP concept art used in a match pic. Would be the worst pic factor ever seen!
