I
have voted for Link in every contest match he has ever been in (except
possibly Day 2 of the Battle Royale when I might have pity voted Mario,
and which I somewhat considered one long continuous match anyway), and
I have no plans on stopping anytime soon. The closest I ever came was
in the 2007 Finals where I originally planned to vote for L-Block, but
changed my mind once it became clear that L-Block actually had a shot
at winning. The top characters that I would vote over anyone else in order are*: 1. Link 2. Aeris 3. CATS 4. Pac-Man 5. Pikachu *Note: Other than the Top 2 this doesn't correspond to my normal character rankings. --- "Oh, did I win?"--Princess Peach Yesmar |

For
the record, I don't think I've ever voted for anyone over Mario or
Luigi (besides Luigi > Mario when they shared a match). I might
vote, say, Pikachu or Shepard just as an underdog if they're against
Mario, but even then I wouldn't vote anyone, anything over Luigi. Not
