Big Daddy 38.9% 382 Tifa Lockheart 61.1% 600 TOTAL VOTES 982 Yeah, Big Daddy > Freeman in this contest right after Freeman swipes the floor with him would be weird. Of course you guys are saying that Big Daddy is a day character, which means...uh oh. |

Doesn't Tifa have a pretty good board vote compared to the rest of the FFVII crew? That is bizarre. When I saw her with 69% I was like 'holy'...maybe a little quick lol. I thought she was going to gun for over 70% for a few seconds. |

Sephiroth
stood over MissingNo., panting heavily and staring in frustration at
this enemy who had cut him so much and who just wouldn't seem to die.
But Sephiroth had saved his best for the end. He unleashed cut after
cut of unrelenting fury upon the glitch, and not even Crono's sword or
Yoshi's tricks were enough to fight back. Finally, an exhausted Sephiroth gazed in wonder upon a dying MissingNo., and prepared to attack with a final, fatal blow. "Wait..." MissingNo. panted, "Please..." Sephiroth noticed that a piece of paper was making its way out of the wounded pixels. "What is this?" Sephiroth paused for a second. But that time was all it took. The entire world went white. And when Sephiroth could see again, the glitch and everything around him was gone. Everything except a sheet of paper. Curious, Sephiroth picked it up. The top was addressed to Link. On it, in a handwritten scrawl, Sephiroth saw the words, "Application for inclusion into your Noble Nine". Sephiroth howled in agony while Link silently looked on from above. |

60% on Big Daddy = Top 10 talent confirmed. Heck, even if she breaks 70% I'd still take NN minus Crono, I'd still take Vincent, and Squall over her, and probably Auron. In other news, how about Big Daddy. This places him at solid midcarder level, maybe even on the upper end of the midcard pack. Big Daddy v. might draw some ire, especially after last night. Daddy is very worthy

From: Lopen | #1758 People really get hung up on these things. Missingo wouldn't have come remotely close to winning a single hour against Sephiroth if the match kept going. He would've stalled Sephiroth's %age gains for a while but that's it. Sephiroth owned the daylight hours. From 7am-9am he got 54.73%. You don't go from getting 45% on Sephiroth in the morning to winning hours - it doesn't happen. Big swings from morning % to ASV % tend to happen in situations favorable to that occurring - which means weak ASV competition. Sephiroth is not weak ASV competition. Small %age cuts is the best Missingo could've realistically hoped for with the ASV in a 24 hour match. --- gamefaqscontests.com gamefaqscontests.com/gallery |

Bid
Daddy being around Freeman's level isn't surprising, we don't need to
rationalize this by saying it's an overperformance. Tifa should rise
with the DSV, but the ASV will hurt, so I don't know if she'll finish
higher or lower than where she is, but it shouldn't move by more than a
point either way. I could certainly see Big Daddy beating Freeman. This is a guy who got 53% on Peach, he isn't strong at all. From: KamikazePotato | #1907 But it was pretty clear at the time this is exactly what was going to happen. I said at like 6am that Seph's US %age would skyrocket and he'd clean house with the morning vote. His US % was at like 47% at the time - hochi was questioning the US's tastes because of it :) But that's entirely due to the early vote, it's not his "natural" US % at all. Here's the posts I made at 5am - http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/detail.php?board=8&topic=53869587&message=593189747 http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/detail.php?board=8&topic=53869587&message=593189947 Everything pretty much went according to The Plan :) Sephiroth ended up a point or two lower than most in the Oracle had him finishing with (consensus was 54.29%), but the trends in the match were basically textbook. Sephiroth sucks horribly in the Power Hours, then starts reaming MN up the you know what. Daylight is no different as Seph continues indefinitely climbing in %, as always. Trend-wise no surprises. People must've loved the early part of the match though, I'm sure that was fun - although from skimming some posts it seems people were aware that MN wasn't really doing enough to win. Whether Sephiroth would actually take the morning vote, was the only real question, and it would've been quite the surprise if he didn't. It was conceivable that MN would get the morning, but, a stretch. Huge props to the glitch though - he looks to be at bare minimum 35% on Sephiroth without any bandwagoning, and that's a ridiculously conservative number. It'd say he's at maybe around 40% on Seph without any joke stuff. Also I don't think he's truly a "joke" entirely - I'd say pseudo-joke.
