Creative Squall barely won in USA.BUT most states had Auron winning and I am guessing the states with most people living had Squall winning. So in Geolocation map it shows that Auron won in USA BUT in the percentages Squall won.BUT Sephiroth/Missingno Sephiroth loses both on geolocation USA map and in percentage there. So it will trully be the first match.

Actually the stats topic is usually home base for Pokemon.

They all went to sleep. It was only 3-4 people that were pro Sephiroth and we're the ones that stayed up.

Woah, Sephiroth. I leave for three hours and you go all Bizzaro.

And the longer this beast of a night vote lasts, the Safer he looks!

...I should probably go to sleep.

You notice my user name. You know who I root for.But for some strange reason I want Missingno to win.Maybe because I am tired of Link winning...I know that if it beats Sephiroth then Cloud is even stronger and Link is even more stronger but it can easily beat Link because it will be a 24-match.For Cloud I am not sure though, but it can beatt him too.

63+% Update right there. And I was thinking Sephiroth was slowly starting to slow down with ~20-30 Vote Gains as opposed to the ~50 Vote Gains he had before. Might just be a case of a single update though.

Currently 6:21 AM on the East Coast of the US, 3:21 AM on the West Coast.

The Night Vote is coming to its close, but Sephiroth is already well beyond his absolute worst time (The Power Hour), he should slow down as time goes on, but I can't imagine it ever getting as bad as it was for him back in the beginning.

Not sure what you mean.

Missingno beat Crono by 527 votes.
Missingno beat Yoshi by 2348 votes.

Missingno's largest lead against Sephiroth was 618 Votes, I believe, at the 2:20 AM EST Update (Roughly 4 hours and 15 minutes ago).

A Lead of 1291 should be good, but I still will never trust any lead that has been comeback on at any point in any contest against a joke character.

So I'm glancing at the other topics, and...wow. red outdid himself with this one! Deserves a repost.

Looks like thanks to Link and Cloud, Sephiroth was well prepared to face Link's runaway creation!
---
Cloud: So, my king, why have you summoned me here today? Surely the great Link does not need the help of one so lowly as I.

Link: Shut up, Cloud. We're in serious danger, all of us.

Cloud: Danger?

Link: Do you know what Pokemon are, Cloud?

Cloud: Aren't they just harmless animals?

Link: That's what they used to be. After L-Block toppled my universal domination, I.....changed the pokemon to help me destroy him and take back my throne. You know where L-Block and his army of inanimate objects drew their power from, right?

Cloud: Um, from hate, right?

Link: Yes, hate. Hatred of the few characters who dominate over the masses who are forced to serve them. Hatred of Nintendo and Square, the powers that tear apart the world with their constant war. Hatred of the Noble Nine that stands above the world. And above all, Cloud, hatred of us. You and me. You know of the lifestream?

Cloud: Yes, of course.

Link: There is another similar force. Every time someone dies in anger or pain, those parts of them join it. Over the years it grew stronger and stronger, until at last it coalesced into a physical object.

Cloud: L-Block.

Link: Right. And it was incredibly strong. To defeat it, I, as I said, modified the Pokemon. Perhaps it is better to say I created the pokemon, for they are completely different now from the simple animals they used to be. I melded them with the force of hate, covered them with an external cute appearance, and made them able to fit into and rest inside tiny red and white balls known as pokeballs.

Cloud: You melded them with the force of hate?

Link: Yes. Every pokemon that you see- inside it runs on pure hate. You would never guess it looking into the eyes of this pikachu I have here, but it is a creature of hate. That is where it gets all its strength from.

Cloud: So you harnessed the power of the hate to create an army loyal to you......

Link: Exactly. And Pikachu was my greatest success. So much hate, hidden behind such a cute, adorable, rat. L-Block had spent much of his power already, and his constant victories had made him believe himself invincible, and when he saw Pikachu, he let his guard down.

Cloud: So you saved us all.

Link: But one pokemon I created went wrong. The cute exterior never materialized. Indeed, I couldn't even control it properly, like I designed all the other pokemon to let me do. They obey me absolutely, 100%. But this one fought back. It took a hard struggle of wills to make it obey me. And it grew.....one day, I realized it had taken on a new shape. It was.......

Cloud: What?

Link: It was.......shaped like a boot.

Cloud: !!!!!

Link: Warn Sephiroth. I can no longer control Missingno. His will has grown strong enough to break free from the bonds with which I created all the pokemon. And he is strong. So much hate and power gathered in one being........Warn Sephiroth.

Cloud: ......I will. What if Sephiroth loses?

Link: I'm sorry, but your friend Tifa doesn't stand a chance against it. Nor does that silly Solid Snake who thought he could match my boundless power with mere tricks. If Sephiroth loses, Cloud, you are next in line.
Iamthekuzalol | Posted 3/12/2010 3:55:48 AM | message detail
This match does indeed tell me that despite being extremely strong, Sephiroth isn't exactly untouchable and invincible to people outside of Clinkeroth. If it is not for this being a night match(his strongest time while it is pokemon's weakest time), Missingno might actually upset Sephy in a day match with ASV and of course stronger rally/bangwagon.

Of course, i will wait till Snake/Squall before I can comment much. If Snake couldn't even break 55% on Squall, no amount of momentum/rally can help you in beating this site's 3rd strongest character.

Denzokuken | Posted 3/12/2010 4:01:17 AM | message detail
The Snake/Seph upset is dead now. I don't know why people are even hyping it now... Snake got 43% on Cloud in 2008. He's clearly dropped since then. What do you take Seph to get indirectly on Cloud? 47/48 or so? ...yeah. Snake is also horrid during the day. There's not much to suggest that Snake can break 47 on Seph.
Karma Hunter | Posted 3/12/2010 4:05:15 AM | message detail
You're arguing "clearly dropped" from a match with a total unknown (Protoman), a relative unknown (Fox), and a Solid **** match. At least wait until Squall before making such blanket statements.

Snake's ASV isn't bad these days either. He weathered Cloud easily enough with it.

The rallying effect would be more diluted in a day match, so it's not entirely clear if a day match would be better for Missingno. I think it would be, but it wouldn't be a big swing.

We'll get some info with the morning vote, which I consider 7-9am. The ASV and morning vote are correlated. Missingo's ASV is likely superior to it's morning vote, but probably by only a couple of points.

Snake's ASV isn't bad these days either. He weathered Cloud easily enough with it.

That was in round 5 of last year where he kept maintaining a small lead over Cloud for the whole match. But in the final, Snake easily lost the ASV to Cloud. Probably as a result of Snake's ASV being weaker as a result of the huge bandwagon he got during the first several hours of the match. Snake mutated into a beast on steroids at the start of the match. After the night vote ended, he slowly went back to being normal Snake again. So he got all burned out by the time the ASV rolled along.

Out of all the MGS characters, Snake probably has the best ASV out of all of them.
