I hope you people are happy. Not only have we devolved back to 2007, but we've seen the single greatest 1v1 match since 2003 go up in smoke because of a glitch.

Fun fact: If Missingno wins the contest, it would have defeated more Noble Niners than L-Block. Missingno gets to defeat 5 of them, while L-Block only defeated 4.

I don't think MissingNo. wins the contest. I think Hochi was right about SFF and that a strong Nintendo character (i.e. a near-elite or Noble Niner) should beat it with relative ease.

Sephiroth is still the clear favorite here. Unless Missingno gets consistent rallying, the dead hours are going to be brutal. Just because we're out of the Power Hour doesn't mean the glitch was going to tank right away. He could still easily lose this hour, after all.

I bet Snake actually outperforms Seph against Missingno. Snake does not have the stigma of being too dominant in these contests that Link and FFVII do.

I suppose. Ocelot brutalized Red during the dead hours in round 1. Sephiroth's not completely dead, but Missingno is the favorite to me right now.

Wiki page came before the former, and I'm just taking a random guess. I have no idea if he posted here or not, nor do I care. Windshields don't worry about every little bug that splats against it.

I don't really have much hope realistically for Snake to stand a chance when he meets Block 2.0 though. In addition to the board having turned on him spectacularly (:(), he's got to fight the thing in a day match. I earnestly believe Snake's day vote now can trump Seph's. Not so much with Pokejoke.

The thing is though, that Seph shouldn't feel comfortable till he's 1k up, due to the morning and ralliers. I'm not sure he gets even close to that, even if he dominates the late night.

Thing is, there are no votes in the dead hours. It would take one or two people rallying to keep MN in this until the morning.

Missingno continued to slash Sephiroth impetuously. Crono's sword had his heart and soul into it. Crono couldn't help but smirk as Missingno's attacks connected.

"So, you are going to use your friend's weapons huh...I DON'T NEED FRIENDS. MY MOM IS ALL THAT I NEED!"

"Get a social life!" Missingo shouted as he ran towards him, and slip himself into two.

"What...He can split himself into two glitches? Damn!"

Sephiroth noticed that Missingno was carrying an egg...And proceeded to attack him. Or so he thought. Missingno passed the egg to his other half, who passed right through Sephiroth and hit him from behind.

"Touchdown!" Missingno shouted as the egg bomb exploded on Sephiroth's face.

Sephiroth predicted Missingno to come straight at him with Crono's sword, and assumed an offensive stance. However, Missingno was using a tricky strategy.

"A...Fake?" Sephiroth said as he realized he had been tricked.

Another egg bomb was launched into Sephiroth's face. It seemed like Missingno had converted a 2 vote cut.

Going to bed, one last Crono/Vincent comparison first: Sephiroth wins with 54.45%.

This is still following Crono/Vincent pretty closely. As such, I anticipate Sephiroth being in the lead when I wake up, but I hold out hope for Missingno.

If (and it's still an underdog's "if") Missingno wins this, it's not losing a day match against Tifa. Snake might still have a shot, though, because it seems as though voters are so much more knowledgeable and impatient these days that they could turn on it mid-contest.

That's just Ulti. Know how many times I've ever been modded for something I said to this guy? Zero. That number is smaller than his (not even counting all the times he deletes stuff out of fear of being modded). I'm a doormat? I'm the one who takes things seriously? I have received nothing but unmerited hostility from this supposedly mature, married and intelligent man. I have never gone to such lengths as he has. Do I voice my opinion about matches I don't like? Sure, sometimes, but a lot of people do and they do it much worse than I do. I'm not quite sure what it is about me that he finds so appealing, but it really is just sad. I was perfectly willing to just let bygones be bygones, but even when I'm not posting he's creating ridiculous nonsense like that wikia page.

It's to no one in particular. But the stats topic stands does stand out and there are probably a lot of folks around watching peoples reactions and "enjoying the tears". Kinda like that guy at post 251.

Good enough to get Red past Ocelot, although he didn't win another hour past the 2nd until the last three. Ganondorf won the morning vote against Mewtwo. Charizard dominated the last three hours against Duke.

So yeah, those last three hours for Pokemon should be pretty good.

He lost the board vote handily to Fox McCloud. I'm too lazy to check, but he may have lost it against Protoman as well. I blame Karma Hunter; I knew Snake was doomed as soon as it was made known he had black fans.

Red/Ocelot. And as we saw with Missingno last round, he had an amazing asv (that wasn't really affected by rallies, since we only had 75k or so votes, which is about average). So I'd expect him to start gaining again at that point.

Cloud did pretty well in the morning against Falcon, didn't he? I think Pokemon's ASV is the much more deadly weapon.

Lost it decisively to Protoman, Fox, and was actually behind Pikachu for quite some time (augh). Snake's rise post-Power Hour has been reminiscent of FF7... and that's *really* hated.

While that may be true, do we have many examples of characters with good asv yet not doing good at morning? Even the KH crew jumps a bit with the morning vote, but that may just be since their night vote is so bad...

Let's see if Seph can turn this around after 2:15. That's when he started beating Marth every update with at least 72% of the vote (prior to that, many were below 69%).

They do, but it's not in any way comparable to their ASV. It's just they go from awful to average. Pokemon should be the same way.

Ridley and Marth actually stalled out a little bit. Cloud and Sephy whipped Vincent, Chris, and Falcon though.
