I can't think of a single category 3 beats 2 in Main character, just to name the most obvious one. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

A
fat dude in a bomb suit on rollerskates is about as comic as you can
truly get. MGS3 just has much, much better storytelling than MGS2,
which makes it more unfortunate that Kojima switched back to MGS2-style
storytelling with MGS4. --- study the past if you would define the future |

This is the psychobabble from someone that goes to law school and comes out thinking he's smarter than everyone else. You're really taking this too seriously, aren't you? ...I mean you're apparently missing the part where I'm just totally messing around with you just because it's fun to. Though I will say attending law school sure as hell better give me some bragging rights to compensate for the sheer amount of pain and misery it's put me through. |

3 barely has a story outside of the ending, let alone storytelling. I was highly entertained by something there! Had to be a story! It was better when it was simple anyway! MGS3's is a lot more like MGS1 in terms of story-telling type. MGS2 is fun as all get out to actually play, but I don't get a kick out of all the "shock value" and convoluted crap they throw at you at the end. Fortune and Fatman are the two worst characters in the series by a mile, too. --- Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created. |

Snake
always underperforms during the sprite round. Pikachu has been
absolutely beastly in recent contests. Pre-contest, I had this pegged
as the type of match that could really get something weird going. At
the very least, this should give us some idea of what to expect from

There's
no way MGS3 doesn't beat MGS2. I love both games and really want to
play MGS4 because MGS1-3 are among my favorite games ever...but MGS3

always seem to be a lot more negative posts about Pikachu than positive

to recapture that precious 2K3 magic. (And several of you seem utterly
uninterested in 2K3 magic in the first place, which is a damned shame.) I'll be sure to come back whenever Solid Snake officially loses to berate everyone for having horrible taste. It's what I do. |

Yep,
MGS1 and MGS3 are very similar in story structure -- and it's no
surprise that both tell simpler but better stories than MGS2 and MGS4,
which relied excessively on cutscenes that could have used some major
editing and streamlining. Being unnecessarily convoluted to the point

don't really mind Pikachu, honestly. I never watched the anime or
followed Pokemon past Blue. The only reason I'd hate Pikachu is Down-B
