I would very highly doubt Fox > Pikachu. Have you seen Charizard lately? And to a lesser extent, Mewtwo?

If Pikachu gets 40%, I would have a very difficult time believing the picture accounts for a 7% swing.

Mewtwo did about what I expected him to, although Ganondorf looking unimpressive against Sonic kinda brings that down a notch.

Squall Leonhart is the worst Final Fantasy character ever created.

A 7%+ swing is very possible in this match. It's not just Snake sucking, it's Pikachu hulking up in every single sprite match he's had. Perfect storm for a weird result.

Pikachu would have a legitimate shot against Fox and I'm not ready to say Fox should be the favorite in that battle. Fox got 45.55% on Yoshi and 43.76% on Sora (R1) in 2008 while Pikachu got 44.13% on Luigi in 2007 and 46.42% on Crono (R3) in 2008, not to mention 42.28% on him with Samus in the poll. Fox has a favorable comparison with CF, but I don't know we 're dealing with the same CF as 2007 and his match that year was also dealing with Wario (and Banjo...) so SFF may have been especially wonky.

We don't have much one-on-one and recent to go by...but let's ask this: how badly do you think Commander Shepard beats Lloyd? They had day-matches against Pika/Fox this year, and if Pika/Fox are equal then Shepard gets an even 58% on him. Sackboy got 54.58% on Kratos Aurion.....
