I expected more... like 2% at least. Its one of the best board votes we have vs. Cloud. 1.5% is just kinda.. disappointing to me. He should reach a doubling, but not much more then that.

And that brings up the question: Sub Zero or Falcon, who you got?

How many instances have we had where these non-nostalgic sprites did well? If it's Mario running with a cape from possibly his strongest game ever, it's fine. If it's this Chain of Memories stuff, they could probably be given something better. Sora just flubbed it as well, and Ansem was obviously assisted by Pigondorf.

Cloud's sprite isn't bad - Falcon just dominates the match picture.

This would be around what I would have expected... except Cloud's supposed to be riding an FF13 high. Very disappointing in that light.

I don't know that good sprites really help characters. I think it's more that bad sprites hurt characters.

Sub-Zero > CF, but Cloud is going to do everything he can to beat CF worse than Samus beat Sub-Zero now that the board-vote's done. Even if Cloud gets CF under 32.69%, Sub's stronger at night than CF and Cloud's stronger at night than Samus, so that would still be a positive for Samus. That doesn't mean she'd win though -- we've discussed several times about how it's hard to give her any kind of legit shot against Cloud in a night-match.

Just goes to show that Omnislash > Falcon Punch.
