Master Chief was not able to do it to Crono! MC didn't win a single update- I don't think he even had any hours above 45%.

Hayabusa/MC were 55/45 in a day-match though

I doubt the percentage would have changed too much in a night match though.

I don't think 'Zard is much stronger than Pikachu, if at all. If he thrashes the Block worse than Pikachu did, it just means 2008 Block > 2010 Block, at least to me.

Plus, Bowser's absolutely rocking Sora with the DSV right now. He's doing better now than he was doing during the Power Hour. He'd probably be up quite a bit by the time the ASV hit if this match started at noon.

Not to mention L-Block 2010 likely being weaker than L-Block 2008 (I wouldn't pick L-Block > Ryu now, for instance).

I remember picking Charizard to advance to the quarterfinals in my bracket because "he's the face of one of this site's favorite games!" and then you guys all told me to support Kratos. Nuts.

I did originally have Magus and Nathan Drake advancing one round in my bracket, but whatever.

For the record, nobody's ever gotten more than 57.78% on a former champion (L-Block > Cloud in 2007). If Charizard breaks that, it'll be history in its own right.

Oh yeah, what's up with Charizard having a weak board vote? Even Pikachu's wasn't very good against Shep, right? Either way, we can't really use stats in a match as SFF-heavy as Bowser/Charizard, so it's time to play the waiting game.

Was expecting this. Solid job by Charizard, though I don't think this is upsetting Bowser-level strength since L-Block's likely not that strong anymore.

Do you really want to count Sephiroth? ...really?

Using the semi-final from 2008, Sephiroth got 34.37% on Solid and 41.54% on Kirby, both of which beat L > Cloud. Cloud also beats Sephiroth almost as bad as Solid in that same poll, but I'm more interested in non-champs beating down champs.

Either way, I don't think he counts!
