Cube isn't strong, and don't know what Nintendo/Square have to do with anything.

This just shows how weak the Cube trully is, this contest. I found it fishy that The Boss could get so close to it, so I took it as Cube being weaker than expected than Boss having strength.

I thought I've made that known since 2003! Hell, I had Luigi winning the entire contest on my serious bracket back then!

And Mario's actually my second favorite character. That's kinda hilarious since I'm not a big fan of the rest of the Mario crew!

I'd still pick The Boss > Commander Shepard, so...oh wait didn't Shepard approach 40% on Pikachu? Okay fine, I'll admit defeat in that statement.

I've not pity-voted often this contest, but WCC gets one today. This is bad, and the ASV won't be kind to it either since I believe Fawful took GlaDOS to town with it.

Too bad there's probably nothing too jokey in OoT or FF7! Zolom bombed and I think Epona would actually be more legit than joke.

Yep I'm actually feeling a little better about Seph's chances now. Joke board votes are overrated now and all this talk of Missingno getting a 2000 vote lead is trash (unless we get some extreme outside intervention).

Mario characters have a better morning vote than their ASV is. I mean, Yoshi led for about 2 1/2 hours and easily lost the ASV, though Missingno might have had a legit ASV after all.

I'm not sure if Luigi will push for a doubling with the ASV.

Cait Sith is great! Cait Sith hate is just a fad and he is a legit good character. Would probably beat most of the chars. in this bracket including Cube.

Honestly after the Boss/Cube match I was expecting Luigi to pushing nearing to 70 than 65. The Boss is not a strong opponent in any sense of the word.

Anyway, now that Link and Luigi will soon be done with their assured victories, let's start hyping Sonic/Ganon!

Nominating "Link's horse" could definitely appear as a joke at first, though if you think about it, she's a series mainstay at this point and even has a bit of character in the games.

Not even on the joke level of CATS, let alone L-Block or Missingno. As for strength-wise...

There are only two FF7-smashings I would like to see in our contests: Zack die for Cloud and Sephiroth murder Aeris.

Tifa kicking Vincent's ass left and right would be nice, too, though that wouldn't exactly be guaranteed.

The Boss put a good performance against a boosted Drake, did decent in the vote-ins, and her equal Tails did impress as well, so I wouldn't say The Boss is that weak.
