Unsurprisingly
abysmal prediction percentages. All the -8s to -12s got the match
wrong. The top bracket is now -10 and are the same -8s we had before
the match. Even if you go down the tiers, the prediction percentage
never really goes much higher than 20 until we get to tiers that have a
small number of brackets. A number of the 1 brackets got this match
right. I guess we had several brackets that advanced Missingno. to the
finals but had nothing else filled in. 3 people fell off the Top 50. Zeriercahl, HopefulDeath and Draco1214 did not have Missingno. winning the match. 47 people got the match wrong but survived. Current first place blitler, current second place PartOfYourWorld, current third place primewaker, KadenceInc, Evil_REmade, HeroicRoy, Saxophoninator, AffeldtABoob, bospsychopaat, sonic_nhl, Naomi_Diamond, Dr_Football, GoldSlime35, LagunaticHigh, RPGuy96, Luigi_Galaxy, LegendaryGeno, cyanlce, ranapuer, vash_131, Shadowhiei899, Randomcrazydude, evilevi13, Seang1978, andylt, Jman_gamerX8, Zylothewolf, TheGreenThunder, nintendogirl1, Niko_G, DaemonDragon, ToadYoshi, TeamRocketElite, fr0g804, Agent_M, Safer_777, FF7Cloud_Strife, Big_Bob, Garrison5001, WhatTheDarn, HotSkitty, AzureMoonstone, GreatGen, Iamthekuzalol, Sonic_Factor, Chinballz and Naveplayer did not have Missingno. advancing in round 2. Once again, no one on the Top 50 had Missingno. winning. The top rated bracket who had Missingno. winning was GameBopAdv who jumped from a tie for 38th place to 17th. As two of the most fervent Jak > Ness backers from the olden days, this one is especially sweet for us, I'd wager! I
can understand if some people just can't handle Bioshock. Not trying to
belittle anyone or sound like a tough guy, but it is a very dark,
intense game. It's definitely one I wouldn't quickly recommend to

Ness has every advantage here (aside from the whole night match thing) I had to give Big Daddy a shot at pulling off a win here. Despite the pretty heavy support for Ness in the Oracle, I still went with Big Daddy, figuring he could pull off a win based on some past polls: http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=3692 http://www.gamefaqs.com/poll/index.html?poll=2882 Big Daddy got 49.82% on Liquid in the vote-in poll while Liquid got 52.23% on Ness. If Big Daddy keeps rising, he could have a shot at finishing around 52%, which would be close to what Big Daddy would be projected to get when you go through Liquid from the vote-in poll and then use Liquid's performance on Ness. In this case, the vote-in poll is probably going to be somewhat accurate here. Sephiroth, I'll go 10/10 in Guru upsets. I hope you or cn wins this year. been thinking over all the scenarios over the last few days. I still
need Sonic > Ganon, Sonic > Kirby, Sora > Bowser, Sora >
Charizard, and Snake > Seph. On top of that, I gotta hope no other
upsets go down (like Auron > Squall or Leon > Ryu). AND I need to
hope the Pokeglitch doesn't go ballistic on Seph and wins the contest.
Asking for any one of these things is reasonable; asking for them all
is asking for a LOT. I'd say my chances are somewhere in the
neighborhood of 2%. Sora winning his division is probably the hardest thing on there. Daddy
has really pushed his lead in Europe (almost 60/40 now). Ness is
fighting hard in the Power Hour, but things should turn pretty dire in

I'll
be rooting for you guys. We've not had a stat-regular be champion since
Ulti. EC got screwed by L-Block and -- while I'm content with either CN
or Yo winning -- Yo's had probably the best leaderboard-history of
anybody on B8. It would be about time if he could win. Then again, whatever makes me as perfect as possible the rest of the contest would be nice too. need Sonic to lose (don't really care to whom), Bowser to win his
division, and Auron to beat Squall. And the Missingno situation to
resolve itself in such a way that I don't get killed for Sephiroth >
Snake - probably anything except Snake > Missigno works. Definitely hurts that I lose four points to Charizard, though. --- Mustache...and Green... |
