It makes even less sense for Mario because Sephiroth hadn't had a match in months and Mario had been wrecking the contest for two months.

I voted for Mario in that match, but I honestly loved that match to death. Two months of rampaging through the bracket, Sephiroth struggling with Ganondorf and Bowser, does Mario have a chance? Sephiroth just absolutely crushes him right from the get-go. 1 update win of 7 votes and 1 tied update for 24 hours for Mario. That was it. That was probably THE most impressive match of SC2K5 to me.

Quick KH-question: is Auron in any of the handheld-KH games? I think he's just in KH2, but it'd be cool to know if he'll match Squall back with a sprite or if he'll be using his FFX-model.

Nah, just don't let him hit you, with HP attacks anyway. The only HP attack that gives me a lot of trouble is Divine Punishment, but Terra completely destroys it because Tornado protects you from it and actually hurts him. I beat his third form because he brave broke me and starting spamming it...and hurt himself for 1000 each time.

Surely you guys didn't expect Sephiroth to SFF Vincent as much as he did in four-ways. SFF is amplified in four-ways, particularly among Square characters. Look at how badly Cloud SFFed Sephiroth to the point where he got crushed by Kirby worse than Kirby beat Sonic the previous round!

Anyone who thought Seph would crush Vincent horribly with SFF in 1v1 relied too much on four-way results. SFF is much bigger when you include two other characters that may threaten the bigger name.
