In
a bit of extreme irony, I'm #4 right now both in the Oracle and
overall. More ironically this is due to me picking Ryu in my bracket
and making a last minute switch to Dante in my Oracle. Looks like a so-so performance by Snake yesterday - I expected better of him in a night match, but I was likely underestimating Fox. Nice
showing from Shepard today, and definitely demonstrates he got a big
boost from ME2 - the rat was just out of his league. Hopefully this

glancing over the bracket, the only debatable match left this round is
Big Daddy/Ness? (I got BD there but Ness might pull it off, especially

Where are people finding their first posts from? I just looked at Ngamer's archive and couldn't find the old topics. I did find this seeding comparison of 2K2 to 2K3 though - http://www.thengamer.com/gamefaqs/03Summer/02-03compare.html Pretty interesting. My favorite part - Of course, the strangest rebound of the first-round exits has to be Squall. The most-hated main character in Final Fantasy history managed less votes against Snake than Knuckles (seed 8 this year) and even less than Aeris (seed 11), but he rose almost as high as Kirby to land in front of Auron. Which probably brands this contest a fraud to half the FF fans out there automatically Heh. Using
43% for Squall/Snake and 33% for Zero/Snake, Squall would be expected
to get a bit short of 62%. But Zero's probably better off than last
year, and going through their matches with Fenix Auron's only supposed
to get 56%. My Oracle is 59% and I'll be satisfied with anything around
that range and excited if he goes higher. --- Mustache...and Green... |

Zero
should do pretty well, the whole Mega Man franchise has looked real

As
long as Auron can break 58-59% on Zero, I am inclined to think that
Auron/Squall will be a good match. Zero seemed to have bounced back in
strength by a little judging from his last match and Protoman/MM are

Zero's
trends are just like Mega Man's. He'll do very well the first few hours
