Some matches from Dante last year. Are those really so impressive that we don't think Ryu can match them? Maybe I'll be proven wrong in ten minutes but I don't quite understand this "Dante has been totally awesome!" thing.

If you want to go back to 2007 he lost to the rat and got like 30% on Snake/MC.

This isn't "artificially close." Nothing there is out of Ryu's range.

Yeah, I don't know what this 'artificially close' stuff is about. There was plenty of reason to believe this match would have been like this before it started, before the pic was even shown. And you're not getting me to believe that Dante fans are simply not voting for him because his pic is from DMC2. That's just silly.

Yeah I agree. I really doubt Dante fans would not vote Dante just because it has a DMC2 art. It's not like this is Zero Suit Samus or Solid Snake **** or anything. Pics only made the difference in recognizability.

Jeez he doesn't even look bad. DMC2 is Dante's best look, regardless of the game itself being bad. I think Ryu's pic is worse.

Which is not the case here. It's the same as all of his other pics. Unless people dislike DMC2 because of Dante's physical character design, I see no reason why the pic should matter.
