weekend). They love to mention me there, which is kinda weird because I

Also taking any match at face value is where you start to go wrong, leon. You have to judge characters based on something. And I think I've been arguing pretty heavily that I didn't take Magus's match against Link at face value! That was the whole point! --- "So cold. I am always by your side." I judge character strength based on a character's head! Look at the N9! Link's hood, Cloud, Seph, and Crono's hair, Sonic's spikes, Samus and Mega Man's helmets, Mario's hat, Snake's eyepatch... No surprise they're the highest with their unique headwear! --- Not Wylvane |

Leon is like so much of a vet he is just getting warmed up. He is like
me with Mafia: If it isn't a 4 topic day, it is a short day. I was having fun in the podcast mostly because I don't discuss this stuff a lot for a reason. I think you guys talk in circles, and have a heavily skewed perspective. Mostly this skewed perspective is trying to draw much from one match to the next. A lot of times, you'll be right, but not by as much or as wrong as you think. I like talking about the contest to a limited degree because I, as I said several times, these topics have a lot of fun posts and then a lot of "you are wrong." I mean someone just told me scoring 28% on link if he beats everyone else isn't telling which is just really dumb. --- Board 8's User of the Decade as voted on by the users. Sir Chris |

you guys discussing Cloud/Link or what? Surprisingly, inter-Clinkeroth
crap rarely gets discussed around here. I'm not exactly sure why; maybe
because it always seems ages away (why talk Link/Cloud when Riku/Falcon
is in 10 hours?), or maybe because nothing has changed with

I had a big paragraph about Wylvane, but not worth it. Anyway I don't see the problem here. I was letting my distaste for the topics be known but for Leon specifically I don't see anything wrong with. This
is actually the most "pleasant" the stats topic has been in years.
We're the one place on Board 8 that seems to tolerate Albion (I don't
even have a problem with him). Wylvane and Albion are still around with
crazy picks and occasional trolling, and the rest of us are cool with
it. EC, the most "fiery" guy we had, is gone, and Karma has honed down
his confrontational edge. You rarely see massive posts and lengthy
arguments here these days; it's much more a place to relax and casually
comment on the matches. Heck, it might be the most chill place on the

Your interests aren't with ours, but rather, "WHY IS THIS BLACK GUY BEATING ALTAIR" and "WHY DOES CRONO WIN THE GAMEFAQS CONTEST EVERY YEAR BARLWWWWW" and even "HOW DO I UNLOCK PIKACHU IN METAL GEAR SOLID 4." Our interests are completely different, and that's why we have our hideout here in the Stats Topic. You're free to not come here and enjoy the rest of the board where you can frolic with your 500 Naked Girl Contests and Rate The Hentai Topics, you know, like you've been doing the last 20 years or so. But some of us like posting whether Link has a bigger number than Cloud, and that's why we post here.
