Ezio = Altair? That means SIMON BELMONT = Liquid Snake. Either that or Zelda has lost a step. One or the other.

Also, my Cloud picture is incredible and is going to do wonders for Cloud tonight.

Um. I've always said that Ezio > Altair and he is definitely > Altair imo.

I don't know why people hate on his name; it's a much better name that Altair. Lol.

I don't think it's really controversial that Zelda's lost a step since 2005. Now, since 2008- that's a much harder case to make.

Zelda and Ganondorf were both a lot weaker in 2007. Zelda probably gives Vincent a good match in 2006, and Ganondorf probably gets the same numbers that Zelda does in 2007.

I have a hard time seeing Ganondorf lose that match. Of course hierarchy arguments are generally all bad, but if I were going to use one, Ganondorf would definitely feel right to me.

After seeing what Link can do to Ganon heads up, I'd take the view the Zelda fanbase, given a choice between hero and villain, will vote en masse for the hero, and pick Zelda.

She was definitely more popular in 2003. Ganondorf just looked strong because he was stuck behind Link/Magus. And if it hadn't been for the Villain Contest she would have looked better in 2005 as well, most likely.

This match seems to imply that Ken and Ezio would have a decent match if Zelda and Ganon are equal or Ganon is stronger. Ezio's projected to get a little more than 51% right now assuming the two are equal.

Hmm, we saw Link vs. Zelda too, in a 4-way. She got killed almost as badly as Ganondorf did, and projecting through Link yields a Zelda win with 54.13%. Well, to the x-stats, the difference between 12% and 13% is pretty big!

But really, all those yearly comparisons tell me that Zelda vs. Ganondorf is an inconclusive matter. There's nothing you can point to in any year that says, "Look! Ganon/Zelda is clearly stronger based on this!"

Zelda > Ganondorf in a direct matchup... just doesn't feel right to me. Now, I'm just a casual Legend of Zelda fan, so I could be off-base; but to me, it seems that Ganondorf has a lot more personality. Seems like the fanbase would side with him.

Nope, it's inconclusive. Though it wouldn't surprise me at all if Ganon took that with over 60% directly. I think I've got a pretty good handle on the Zelda fanbase, or at least the OOT fanbase.

ACloud's hair just doesn't do it for me, I think as a kid I was all over him because he looked like a permanent super saiyen, now he looks like a model.

I would take Ganondorf. They're so close in strength that I would go with who more people would like logically. Ganondorf is the main villain, while Zelda is the princess you save. I think people would side with the main villain.
