wow Zelda just beastin' all over Ezio.

Man I am doing so well yet my Falcon > Riku pick is going to take me out of leaderboard contention. AUGH.

You know, given how much of Samus's strength seems to come from Smash....is it that unreasonable to think that Brawl boosted her a ton?

Jecht does well overnight, averaging around 60% there. Ratchet tears him up with the morning vote though, it's pretty crazy how abruptly the shift from the night vote to the morning vote was here. Ratchet improved by 5% from one hour to the next. And then he went up 2% the next hour after that. A 7.54% difference between Jecht's best hour and his worst here.

If Samus boosted from Brawl, we would've seen it, y'know... LAST contest. Her performances, the improvement on Mario aside, were standard.

That be can explained by her being stuck with major Nintendo hanging off of her for all but her first-round match, and maybe suffering from 'obvious winner' syndrome each time, but she did double Ganondorf.

I dunno, after seeing what Ridley did, it's hard to believe Brawl just came and went without helping her.

We don't know what Ridley did. If Cloud goes and performs to expectations against Chris, that's one thing. but if he bombs just as hard, that means Ridley probably didn't improve jack - and the problem is with Cloud.

It'd be way easier to boost Ridley than Samus, in the same way it'd be way easier to boost Saria than Link.

And it's also WAY harder to improve when you're as strong as Samus (as opposed to the lolness of Ridley). Metroid Prime 3 did precisely nothing for her, if I recall.

We don't know what Ridley did. If Cloud goes and performs to expectations against Chris, that's one thing. but if he bombs just as hard, that means Ridley probably didn't improve jack - and the problem is with Cloud.

Considering that Link underperformed two rounds in a row, I would expect Cloud to do the same (unless FF/RE SFF rears its head or something)

Yeah, there just is nothing to boost Simon Belmont right now unless a future Castlevania game that isn't portable and isn't anime gets released soon with Simon as the lead. Travis has the edge.

Any character can get 50% in a match. It justs depends on who they are facing.

As for Ezio, weren't you, Curt, saying that Ezio could beat Zelda BECAUSE he had a game recently that was popular?
