Not only are those the only Nintendo-guys Kratos has faced in the past, they've been LFF-matches. It was first DK paired with Marth, then Kirby paired with DK. I don't know if we ever proved LFF affects trends, but I don't think it would hurt Kratos come time for the ASV either.

I'd take Altair too, but they're close together and don't have a lot of reason to doubt that right now, plus the difference between Charizard > Duke and Vivi > Altair make this a non-issue.

I've said before that Ezio is a long shot to beat Zelda, but that if Altair flopped so would Ezio. So that's out the window. However I would literally spluge all over my pants and take naked pictures of my girlfriend for B8 if it did happen.

I'm sure there are plenty of people who haven't played games PaRappa is from. I think he was still pretty well known back the so it would be "character I've heard of" vs "character with a design I like" for a lot of voters. I think Kratos could probably get a fair amount of votes from that. I'm not sure if it would be enough to win, though.
