L-Block, your joke has grown stale! We have now gone on to glitches in the same shape as you!

Talking about that, is there anywhere I can re-read the stats topic from Missingno vs Crono? I remember wanting to reread that for some reason.

I don't know if Missingno, which is part-Pokemon and is appearing in its first contest, is comparable to Cube and L-Block. Both of those needed bandwagons to pull off their upsets, and even Cube needed incredible luck of Zero LFFing Mega Man to squeak through, while L-Block took a few rounds to gain steam.

Meanwhile, Missingno beat a N9er 1v1 in its first ****ing match ever. I'm skeptical it can bandwagon support to take out Seph, but the damn thing is several leagues above L-Block and WCC.

Also now that the format is 1vs1 again, L-blocks new static % has doubled from 30-ish percent to 60-ish percent! Hey I can hope. But this does look pretty weak in the early going for block - I have it in round 4, losing to Kratos. Man that just wasn't a good pick at all.

Pretty much. Jokes get stale, and people get more and more bored with the character. It's how L-Block went from still looking pretty strong in 2008 to... this.

Unless Isaac had a Brawl/GS DS hype boost. Possible, but this is more likely L-Block falling.

Still, impressive that Isaac > HK-47. Wouldn't think KotOR characters would drop that much, especially with Bioware looking great between DA:O and ME2.

And L isn't doing badly now, either, given that he did pretty well against HK-47 last round. Isaac's never had a match in which he was away from Nintendo, so we really didn't know where he was.
