blows by 59% there. He might still be able to get to 60% yet. No chance

He
doesn't look particularly manly with the picture on the home-page
either, but considerably moreso than his FMV-shots from FF3/6 and
reasonably so for a FF-male! He looks more like a boy-elf to me today,

Kefka is boringly ugly. He's just some generic evil guy with clown
make-up on. You can't tell that he's like The Joker other than the
appearance. Dissidia Kefka is hilariously ugly. You can sense how chaotic and psychotic he is from his face. FMV Kefka doesn't have the same spark to him. Dissidia Kefka does a great job capturing that Joker spirit. There is a big yet subtle difference between the two. --- Not Wylvane |

Kefka's smile is smug. He looks ridiculous, but still relatively clean.
His hair, his outfit, even his make-up are even and look neat. He may
look like a clown, but he looks like a professional clown. The real
Kefka is anything but professional. Look at Dissidia Kefka. His grin is much more playful, which reflects his joy in chaos and murder. His hair is a mess, his appearance is asymmetric compared to Kefka's clean, symmetric appearance. Dissidia Kefka is just all kinds of ****ed up, which is FF6 Kefka to a T. FMV Kefka really is a poor representation of FF6 Kefka, who's much more psychotic and loud than the soft, serious, tactful Kefka in the FMVs. --- Not Wylvane |

By the way, assuming Sora = Bowser (and giving Kefka 41% on Bowser as of right now), this is what you get: Sora - 50.00% Bowser - 50.00% Kefka - 41.00% Frog - 36.78% Midna – 36.37% Arthas Menethil - 32.33% Laharl – 32.25% Neku Sakuraba – 28.17% What do we think? --- "I can set you free, mate." The article's like Ridley: TOO BIG More seriously, I wouldn't have had either BGE2-match in there. Based
on the overview of Ulti's list I would say it's a really good job. I
haven't read most of the write ups (I'll get around to that later
today) probably, and without giving anything away for my own ranking
topic, while there are some matches that are snubbed/some that are too
high, the only one I have issues with is #10, which I did read. We've
seen comebacks just as big if not bigger in 4 ways that were actually
for advancement instead of just for 1/2. The comeback was huge, but
fairly meaningless since in the long run, we all knew SSBB would win in
a fair match anyway. And for all the hype, Brawl and MGS4 were the
expected games to advance anyway. Not sure why that match beats the

Every
time I hear about SMB1/Zelda 1/SMB3/World, I'm left wondering: how in
blazes could anyone possibly prefer Super Mario World over Super Mario
Bros.? I can see why people would prefer SMB3, as it was visually
stunning for the time, had brilliant level design and was really quite
challenging. But World? The game with some of the most
unmemorable level designs in the whole series? I just don't get the
appeal, honestly - the only factor it seems to have in its favor is
Yoshi. But yeah, it's a great list overall. As much as I hate the final result of that match, there's no denying the excitement surrounding it! (On a side note, I have no idea who to vote for in this match! I'm leaning towards Kefka, but man, Bowser was a riot in Super Mario RPG...) --- Master Chief choked. sad face :( |
