Actually, now that I think about it, Sora is one of the most clutch guys we have: 2004 - Very debated fourpack with Hayabusa and Jill. Sora crushes it. 2005 - Very debated R2 match with Alucard. Sora gets the easy 55/45. 2006 - Nothing unexpected, but he brought his A+ game against Mega Man. 2007 - Debated R2 match against Aeris. Kills her. 2008 - Debated R2 match against Yoshi. Smashes him and scared Squall in the process. Sora shows up. if Kefka hits 40% (which I am very much hoping he does!) that puts
Bowser awfully near Crono based on Crono/Alucard, Alucard/Arthas, and
Kefka/Arthas. For the record, using those matches, Kefka would be expected to get 37.31% on Crono - slightly better than Frog did on Bowser. --- Mustache...and Green... |

Sora
strikes me as a character that'll never really blow anyone out, but
won't really choke either. Laharl is definitely doing better than
expected, but I'm not too worried about it - it's not like Bowser's
performance against Frog was a show-stopper or anything. --- Master Chief choked. sad face :( |

I still think that Layle would be the most fantastic fodder ever. ...But I would take Laharl>Layle easily if he ever made it into a contest. Hell I'd take Vyse>Layle. |

There was also that one from the villains contest. Who will never come back again because that was just the Villains Contest. ...He did a lot better on Kefka than Wesker did though! Bowser
has had his moments, though. He's come the closest of anyone of
dethroning the N9 in 1v1 until Missingno. Of course he had the perfect
storm of the 2005 Nintendo Boost, his solid performance in the Villains
Contest, facing the weakest N9 member at the time, and having one of
the weirdest pic advantages imaginable, and even then he still couldn't
pull it off. Yeah, Sora is still the favorite here. --- Not Wylvane |
