~*Say What? Some Common Stat Topic Lingo Defined*~

SFF (Same Fanbase Factor) - Same Fanbase Factor is the theory that, if two contestants share a common fanbase, the weaker of the two options will underperform in a direct matchup. For instance, Link was expected to defeat Ganon with 65% of the vote in 2004, based on their 2003 values. Instead, Link collected near 88% of the vote, because the Zelda fanbase so clearly sided with him. However, take some SFF labels with a grain of salt, as many people will slap it onto any match that doesn't make total sense. This has caused a few SFF jokes, with LordOfDabu's "Some Frivolous Factor" being the funniest of them.

X-Stats - Short form of Extrapolated Statistics, aka the mathematical "strength" of a contestant that can be determined based on their performance in any given matchup. See above for a detailed explanation of the x-stat process.

Noble Nine - Link, Cloud, Sephiroth, Mario, Crono, Solid Snake, Sonic, Samus and Mega Man.

Near-Elite - The Squall, Auron, Tifa, Vincent, Zelda, Kirby, etc group that has come at, near or even ahead of Noble Nine characters in the past.

The Fodder Line - A final X-Stat value of 15% or below.

Oh, and Laharl beats Vyse easily now. Vyse 2004 was equal to Duke Nukem, which isn't great overall, but for a cult guy like Vyse, that's quite good.

Well, I took it (and voted for Felix) purely out of hate for Xbox/Chief, and I'm sure a lot of others thought the same way. Isaac's 25% on Samus was really impressive though, yeah.

Sora won't match people's expectations - he should rise some, but he'll likely crumble during the dead hours.

But he's just not that good in the first 12 hours. There's probably a good 2% difference in his x-stat strength in the first 12 to the second 12 hours, would be my guess.

That's what I'm hoping for. You can't look at what the Chrono Crew did and then suddenly call Bowser's performance a good one. The guy has looked progressively worse ever since beasting it up in 2005.

Come on man...just, come on. If Felix was weak he would've been smashed by Chief anyway.

This "anti-vote" stuff is just a part of Chief's inherent strength, it's no different. Dude just isn't that damn popular here. And this was not a surprise in 2k3. Most knew he wouldn't be that popular.

This stuff has been case-closed for years, from the performances that Isaac and Golden Sun has repeatedly put on. And the performances that Chief has put on!
