So are we so sure Zack and Cid are actually close together? We saw most of the other heavy-hitters last round under-perform, and Mega Man was one of the few exceptions...but what if he wasn't an exception and Cid just sucks that much?

Then again, that probably brings Aeris down a lot too if their relationship's to be trusted from the vote-ins, and I don't buy that so much. Still, if Mega Man was an exception, why was he an exception? Every Noble Niner besides Samus under-performed, plus Vincent failed to impress against Guybrush.

Guybrush probably boosted, and Mario hasn't been looking that bad either. There's evidence of FF7 looking bad, but I'm not quite buying it yet, especially since Sonic Team also looks not be as bad as we thought they were.

This contest is definitely weird, but a type of weird that benefits my favorite characters, so I'm all for it!

It's possible that Mega Man and Samus have boosted, just wasn't apparent due to the bracket.

I mean, with how much Brawl seems to have helped Ridley, and given how weak Metroid games are on here, maybe Samus recieved a Brawl boost that we didn't notice because of being tied at the hip to Nintendo all of last year except one match.

hmm, I'm at a loss as to who will actually win the board vote here. MC cause of bracketz maybe and Ryu seems to be in the Kratos mold.

I think MC's taking the brackets since this is a debated match people have often been snobby about and there are still a lot of brackets alive, most of which side with the green one. I don't think there will be a big difference, but I'll take MC for the board-vote and Hayabusa to overcome.

Sub-Zero is definitely the more popular ninja in these contests, and for Ryu H to beat MC he would need to be on Subby level. I can't see Ryu H breaking 40% on Auron.

lol I'm not saying Ryu H can compete with Sub-Zero (though indirectly I guess I am since I took Ryu to beat da Chief). I'm just hoping for the upset pretty much >_>
